ajthefox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 shame the earlier dominance didn't pay off more and that we gave away two goals like that but very happy to have managed a draw after it looked like we'd lost it. Still unbeaten, onwards and upwards!!
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Will need to improve on Saturday.....
Ric Flair Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Could be a valuable point this! Sven will have learnt a lot tonight too.
STUHILL Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 It's a game I thought we would comfortable win but the way we nicked a draw last minute will hopefully keep the momentum going. Beat an in form Derby Saturday and we are flying!
AmyLGK Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 If, during the first 20 minutes of the first half i'd be thankful for a point - i'd have said, you're mental - we're bossing them! I'd obviously forgotten about our inconsistency! Massive hammering by the rams I think unfortunately!
FrankieADZ Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 they was just in warm up mode for Saturday when we stuff the Derby right royally
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Really important not to get beaten. We shopuld have won that game but hopefully a lesson lived is a lesson learned and we'll stick it to Derby at the weekend.
Lillehamring Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 a strange game - sounds like we started great, got sloppy, and fought back for a much needed point. best thing about this game, imo, is continuing an unbeaten run. good to see sven change things and make a difference when it was all looking rather flat - i get the feeling that sven would still prefer to be playing 442
AmyLGK Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Can I say though - I LOVE SVEN - when the chips are down he throws on all the strikers in the world! AWESOME! He gets the foxes never die slogan!
Collier Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Hobbs sounded awful. Really can't understand what's happened to him.
ScouseFox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Rescued a point after fvcking up a good start.
thrillbert Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Interesting that a midfield that looked a class above against barnsley sounded so anonymous today. I think what this result shows is that there is still a need to keep players around who can work a 4-4-2, if the need arises, as a plan B. Disappointed with this result to be honest.
Guest shearfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Only five points from the playoffs now...
STUHILL Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Can I say though - I LOVE SVEN - when the chips are down he throws on all the strikers in the world! AWESOME! He gets the foxes never die slogan! Yeh though Sven got it spot on tonight when things started going wrong. He didn't leave it too late and made the right changes in my opinion. Couldn't be happier with Sven to be honest
Population-1 Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 We are due a victory against Derby and the fact they won at Portman Road last night may actually work in our favour. After all, all good runs must come to an end somewhere. We need to learn how to build upon a lead however as we continue to have a tendency to score and then fail to build upon the momentum......
AmyLGK Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Yeh though Sven got it spot on tonight when things started going wrong. He didn't leave it too late and made the right changes in my opinion. Couldn't be happier with Sven to be honest Yeh completely agree - even if we'd have lost I think he did all he could have done! The players seemed to give possession away a lot more easily than normal for some reason!
B52 Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Swansea lost and Cardiff draw. Not bad for a night like this anyway. :-) 14 points off promotion, easy......
ajthefox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Yeh though Sven got it spot on tonight when things started going wrong. He didn't leave it too late and made the right changes in my opinion. Couldn't be happier with Sven to be honest Agree with this, I was a bit unsure about taking Waggy and Vassell off so early and then bringing fryatt on too, but he got it spot on and salvaged a point that although might not seem much, shouldboost confidence cause it feels like a win. Slightly worried about Hobbs tho as has been said. He sounded like a liability..
lew blues Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 what a shame no killer punch in the first 20 mins but could change when we ram the rams
ousefox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 fooking Mark Yeates again. He can't stop scoring against us.
Ashley Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 I feel sorry for Jack Hobbs, his confidence must be rock bottom.
Wymsey Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 I feel sorry for Jack Hobbs, his confidence must be rock bottom. Was he crap?
