Jon the Hat Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Bit of a laugh really considering it happened on the same day that someone got prosecuted, fined, a criminal record and charged court costs for saying something on twitter. "Crap! Robin Hood airport is closed. You've got a week and a bit to get your shit together otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!!" A bit of background, the airport was closed due to snow and the guy just wanted to go and see his girlfriend in Ireland. So he's not got a criminal record and fired from his job for that. Anyone with a jot of sense can clearly see that it was a joke, even if you don't find it remotely funny you could most probably see it was an attempt at humour. Freedom of speech my arse!!!! That is a joke. As is the crime of inciting racial hatred when no crime actually takes place.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Flynny's nailed it on this. Don't think much more needs to be said really.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 They're massive wankers for sure, but as per usual they receive encouragement from our media who insist on giving them disproportionate amounts of column inches, because they know we like being enraged by this sort of thing. Hundreds of thousands of people would have commemorated Remembrance day in some form yesterday, but the few dozen daft bastards that staged these protests get just as much content and photos in our fine newspapers
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 If these cretins could all just join forces with the EDL and collectively fuck themselves off a huge cliff, that'd be just great. This is a viewpoint I've long held about many factions. They're never going to see the light, they just want to fight, fight, fight - often the "cause" is just a cover for their own violent tendencies, they have no real opinions. So get them all... EDL, these protestors, the Real IRA, the KKK, soccer hooligans, rabid student fee protestors, etc... build a BIG pit, dump them in it, and let them go for it, hell for leather. Drop a few weapons in there to speed up the process. They'll be happy as Larry and we can get on with our lives.

Round them up, put them in a field and bomb the barstads
Head Honcho Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 They have a democratic right to free speach, just like the idiots of the EDL are allowed to do their thing. You really are a fvcking pleb trying to condone this sort of behaviour. In any way shape or form this is just wrong.
Jon the Hat Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 You really are a fvcking pleb trying to condone this sort of behaviour. In any way shape or form this is just wrong. What? You think Free speech is a bad thing?
surrifox Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Disgusting behaviour. However, what i can't stand are all these people writing on Facebook as if it is all Muslims who are like this. quite right
Zingari Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 What? You think Free speech is a bad thing? What , you actually believe there is or can be such a thing ?
Head Honcho Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 What? You think Free speech is a bad thing? Not at all, but there is a line you don't cross and these shitheads have gone way over it.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 I hope they get arse raped by a horse. Think/hope this may be a turning point, Kick out or kill these cvnts.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 I hope they get arse raped by a horse. Think/hope this may be a turning point, Kick out or kill these cvnts. A well reasoned, sensible and thought out respone yet again by IBLC. Probably the most rational poster on the forum.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Can't be doing with some twats on here either, so left wing. Who gives 2 shits about human rights at times like this.
muzzy1981 Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 have to agree with the majority of posts on here and say it is absolutely disgusting, but in a democratic society they have their right to their opinions (however wrong they may seem) this demonstration was extreme, but are we more offended by it because of their appearance? is what they did any worse then the 'white' celtic fans displaying their anti-poppy banners in the other thread similar to this? 'celtics green brigade' in general football and sport I am certainly not offended by one more than the other both are equally as Narrow minded. This should not be being reported by the media, 30 peoples do not represnt the 1.5 million muslims in Britain. The press should be strung up for inciting racial violence. 50, 000 students taking to the streets, 1million prostetors to the war in Iraq are worth taken notice (Tony Blair) but a pathetic group of 30 should be ignored.

Fosse Boy Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Can't be doing with some twats on here either, so left wing. Who gives 2 shits about human rights at times like this. Oh the irony. You do realise that it was for the human rights of people in this country and all over Europe that the people we remember at this time of year fought for, right?
Smudge Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 On a practical note I'm sure the police are quite happy for this lot to show themselves; a few more addresses, cell phones etc. to monitor. Edit I wrote Police, which would have been a Sting operation

Yes fought for peace ?! Not for bombings and haters.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 A well reasoned, sensible and thought out respone yet again by IBLC. Probably the most rational poster on the forum. Yeah, I do get abit annoyed and rash at times who cares
Jon the Hat Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Some very confused people on here. Me? Left Wing? You clearly have not been paying attention. Being offended by someones views is a reason to disagree with them, or to criticise them, it is NOT a reason to argue that they should not be able to hold them or state them. We ALL have a right to our views, no matter whether they upset others or not. The views of moroons like this, or the EDL or any other idiots shoudl see the light of day to be criticised, picked apart or laughed at. Labour have done enough already to make it illegal to protest near parliament, or to do all kinds of things we should be able to do. We need to roll that shit back to add more to it.
Fosse Boy Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Oh another goodie goodie. Yes fought for peace ?! Not for bombings and haters. Goodie goodie? I think these people are scum. But as much as you, I, or any other cunt on this isle may think that, they do have the right to political protest. Just as that bunch of spackers the EDL have a right to theirs.

Flynny Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Not when they are preaching hate against this country and especially on rememberence day they don't. Again: if they're just generic muslim extremists, then they're being utter knobheads. If they've got family we've blown up going after dictators, would you be able to sympathise with them in that case? Not agree with them, but understand why they might be pissed off? Our soliders did and still are fighting against totalitarian regimes where anyone who protests against the status quo is removed and/or killed. We fought to maintain a free and democratic society where the powers of police and politicians don't extend into what we think and feel. The reason freedom of speech is important is that if it isn't guaranteed in law, then politicians can take action against people who disagree with them and smother dissent until they can do whatever the fuck they like. Hitler came to power in exactly those circumstances, by whipping up resentment and hatred until he could persuade the country into abolishing basic freedoms. Do we want that? No. So like I said, through gritted teeth, whilst disagreeing with them and condemning them, we have to respect their right to say and think whatever they like. Anything else would be just as big an insult to our dead.
Finnegan Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Daily Mail in "ludicrous over-exaggeration of few morons yelling at troops" shocker.
Tilley Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Those handful of people need kicking out the country.
