Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Let's say hello to our new twenty a season man:
Wymsey Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 That third one had a trial with Blackpool.............
Jackirius Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 From Stringers Twitter. trialists are: Elias Kyriakidis (M), Joslan mayeloi (GK), Ruzack Omotoyossi (S) The 3 trialists are Dutch youth internationals from Sparta Schpliff, names of Winken, Blinken and Nodd. Looks like your source was having you on The third guy, omotoyossi sounds a decent player. In July 2008 Omotoyossi signed for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia for a reported fee of $2.5M Trials (Summer 2010) Trial at Blackpool FC Jul-Aug. Omotoyossi had a trial with Blackpool FC and came on as a substitute in the disappointing 2-0 defeat at Bristol City. The trial did not lead to a contract agreement. 15 Sep 2010. Omotoyossi is reported to have had his contract terminated by Metz before the closing of the August transfer window and is free to sign with any team. He is seeking a contract to play in the English Football Leagues. Today his agent released the following statement: “He is ready to come for trials at any club to show his potential. Coming to England to play football would be a dream come true for him. He has very good statistics with Benin and has all the qualities to make it in England.” Trial at Swansea City 22 Sep 2010. The Swansea City official site revealed that Omotoyossi has been on trial with the Swans this week, in the English Championship. He played in a reserve game against Plymouth Reserves today and scored two goals, in an impressive performance. Swansea have spoken of the need to sign an additional striker "if the right one comes along" in recent weeks. 1 Oct 2010. At a fan's forum last night, the Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers is reported to have confirmed that Razak has left the club following his trial, without a contract. 14 October 2010. The player arrived at Heathrow Airport to begin negotiations with Leicester City football club. The player had previously played under Ericcson in Sweden. Seems a decent player but maybe an attitude problem?

Jackirius Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Wikipedia info: Razak_Omotoyossi Joslain_Mayebi Ilias_Kyriakidis Couldn't find him anywhere. Doesn't seem the best. Would rather keep Weale at the moment who is already established.

Babylon Posted 15 November 2010 Author Posted 15 November 2010 but maybe an attitude problem? Based on what? We got another Blue Brett on our hands?
Lillehamring Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Wow... 2007–2009 Manchester City 1 (0) 2008–2009 → Wrexham (loan) 5 (0) 2009–2010 Wrexham 23 (0) 2010 → Fleetwood Town (loan) 4 (0) much the same as vaughan and plenty of people had him on their wishlist until someone positively links us to huseklepp, i'm just not going to get excited about any of these unknown players
Howard9 Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 trialists are: Elias Kyriakidis (M), Joslan mayeloi (GK), Ruzack Omotoyossi (S)
Jackirius Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Based on what? We got another Blue Brett on our hands? Just based on that he seems to be impressing at clubs but no one is playing him/taking him on. trialists are: Elias Kyriakidis (M), Joslan mayeloi (GK), Ruzack Omotoyossi (S) Ill just say it for a 3rd time incase nobody heard. trialists are: Elias Kyriakidis (M), Joslan mayeloi (GK), Ruzack Omotoyossi (S)
Kitchandro Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 No, we sent him packing. Not a fan of trialists myself, if the Thai guys are gonna back us as much as they make out then i'm not sure they are the answer. Because 99% of the time they haven't got a contract for a reason.
The Doctor Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 I think Sven's resorting to trialists (they're mostly 'free agents', not under contract) because he's coming up to his limit in Loan players. He's only allowed 5 loaned players each match squad - and he'll often want to play 4 that we've currently got (Naughton, Davies, Cunningham & Vitor), that leaves only 1 more that he can sign and play. I think he's desperate to get a (big) striker in - Miller / Bednar / Santa Cruz / Roberts, all been mentioned - and if he does, that doesn't leave any room for another Loanee. I think he's still keen to get another keeper in (and get rid of Ikeme) - possibly in place of Weale. SO that means, for signings until January, he can only go for Free Agents (we know he's looked at Rensing and Pancrate). I guess (with 'no go' on those 2) he's considering other out-of-contract players. All guesswork on my part, I know ...... ?! vitor doesn't count in the 5 loanee ruling, it's only domestic players that count to that.
