So many good posters left or just not bothering any more and the result has been deluded thread after deluded thread, shit brained argument after shit brained argument and some horrifically slow posters getting roundly rimmed. I blame the rep points for that last one, too many people are posting stuff to get voted up and get a nice gold 'popular' star by their latest offering. Some deserve it, plenty don't because they're looking for the points. And a long line of people give them the vote. The sad thing is that someone will post a negative reply to this and there'll be a queue of people giving it the thumbs up just so they can get a gold star for it. Hilarious banter. Brilliant. Shame really, because rewind to the League One season and this was one of the best footie forums on the net with some genuinely hilarious posters and top class banter, the Face of Kinder thread, the Photoshop a Gradel disguise thread and TPH winding everyone up were what made me enjoy this forum and got me hooked. Now I'm scrabbling around looking for a vaguely entertaining thread half the time. Gen Chat still has its moments though, some good debate on the EDL over the summer was had and the political talk in general still gets a bit lively but apart from that, sorry, it just isn't the same.

When I first joined on here I believe that was the peak of the forum. There were some exceptional posters Fez, Manwell, Dagger, TPH, Janx and a few other good supporting acts.It was also very cliquey as well.Most of those don't post anymore or as much and the quality has gone down but it's more democratic now. Swings and roundabouts. At the end of the day if people aren't happy with the threads or the standard of banter then it's up to them to do something about it.

But, er, I probably post more abuse, drivel, rantings and just twatishness than anyone on FT and, well, er, check the rep counts on the 'top posters' page. I do think this forum has picked up alot of the younger generation. I'm a teenager myself, and yeah I'll admit, I've sometimes been a cnut on here, but it seems Foxestalk has changed since when I first started posting. I used to enjoy reading Daggers's posts and his piss taking, Schrenchel used to be my favourite, but it seems as if he's not posting anymore. Lisa's disappeared as has Ched, probably two of the best posters on here. It seems instead of reading intresting fun threads, I'm finding myself reading thousands of threads being made about 'possible' transfer targets, How we want Gradel back, and how generally people are looking back in the past. I do think though, posters like Bilo, Webbo, LD3, MPH, lcfc30STM, FoxyPV ,Finnegan have probably stepped into the shoes of the best posters on here. You can't knock the younger generation, as I said earlier I'm a teenager, and there are some quality posters on here around my age, (Samjohnson JCN20 is it?). Just maybe a little education into how and when to start topics. That's one of the main reasons in why FT has gone abit downhill for me, the constant pointless threads saying exactly the same thing. But where ever you go, Your going to get people who 'want the limelight' and want to be the best. (Im banging on about the rep system)

Oh mine's pretty high as well but I'm fairly sure that you, like me, couldn't give a toss. If you get a high ranking for your post, it's generally because you've made a good post. I doubt very much you're the sort to go looking for a high ranking. The problem is that to some on here it's seen as a boost to their e-penis and you'll just see the biggest amount of bollocks written just for an absolutely meaningless rep rating. I think it's been abused to fuck.It isn't about being nice, it seems you're more likely to get that mythical gold star by being an utter cvnt and loads play up to it. That isn't a cause though, it's a symptom. Lots of quality posters leaving and seemingly few good uns to replace them.
