Any fan of any club represented by posters on there has just cause to feel embarrassed. These 'banter pages' on Facebook always turn out to be complete idiotfests. Bet you loved moderating during that halcyon period. Moderating it was a pain in the arse, because I found most of it hilarious. So many good posters left or just not bothering any more and the result has been deluded thread after deluded thread, shit brained argument after shit brained argument and some horrifically slow posters getting roundly rimmed. I blame the rep points for that last one, too many people are posting stuff to get voted up and get a nice gold 'popular' star by their latest offering. Some deserve it, plenty don't because they're looking for the points. And a long line of people give them the vote. The sad thing is that someone will post a negative reply to this and there'll be a queue of people giving it the thumbs up just so they can get a gold star for it. Hilarious banter. Brilliant. Shame really, because rewind to the League One season and this was one of the best footie forums on the net with some genuinely hilarious posters and top class banter, the Face of Kinder thread, the Photoshop a Gradel disguise thread and TPH winding everyone up were what made me enjoy this forum and got me hooked. Now I'm scrabbling around looking for a vaguely entertaining thread half the time. Gen Chat still has its moments though, some good debate on the EDL over the summer was had and the political talk in general still gets a bit lively but apart from that, sorry, it just isn't the same.

There's a good 20 odd, who I could name yet wont, but it's nowhere near how good it used to be. Too many people on here think they're better than others, can't take criticism, can't admit when they're wrong or get the arse too easily. I still enjoy coming on here but nowhere near as much as I used to.
