Dylan Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 fooking hell. Why cant we ever finish our chances. Not only that, but then concede.
MC Prussian Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 This was one of the games we needed to win for a playoff push. And then they fudge it up. So disappointing. Still hoping for a turnaround.
Lillehamring Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 it does seem to be the case that the last few times we've conceded have been during a phase of the game where we've gone a bit flat, sadly unlike the other games we hadn't opened the scoring first.
sdb Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 FFS stop talking about penalty technique and start talking about the game. says the guy who's just said the game is over
STUHILL Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Sven's biggest failure so far is the fact he hasn't brought a Striker in on loan. I know he has been waiting on certain players and looking at others but we have to act fast as we are losing games due to our inability to hit the back of the net!
Onions Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Time to give Fryatt more than 10 minutes. Get him, Waggy and Dyer on. Lets go for this.
perthfox Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 The "run of play" matters nothing. What matters is scoring two or three goals a game as a matter of course. And we fail to do that far too often. Ten times so far this season and shaping up 11. very very true
Zingari Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Can we please take at least 1/5th of our chances?!!! what happens if we get a number of chances that is indivisible by 5 ? that will cause massive confusion
Heskey2011 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Come on Lloyd, save us please For those that are listening to the game, (i've only got ssn). How are we playing? fighting back or giving up?
Lillehamring Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I said 'saying he's not done anything is wrong'. So you've been on Howard's back for 3 seasons? Why? He always plays with passion and can be a handful for defenders. Whatever you say, that is an asset. He wins headers, can hold it up and pass it. He's not a great goalscorer, but i don't think he deserves a slating, because I don't think we would have won against Derby or got the point against Sheff Utd if it wasn't for him christ, why is it forbidden to say anything bad about howard, if it had been fryatt missing the peno, half the forum would have been moaning. howard wins some headers but they rarely go to a city player, he gives away far to many free kicks, he encourages the team to play hoof ball, he misses the target far too often, he's got no pace, he's not very mobile... if you want to overlook all that and worship him as a god, fair enough... but allow me my opinion. i don't hate him, i'm as pleased for him as anyone when he does score - but we really need someone who offers more. look at a player like Huseklepp, that's my dream centre forward.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 For those that are listening to the game, (i've only got ssn). How are we playing? fighting back or giving up? gally moved up front with howard! they all over us!!!
STUHILL Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 For those that are listening to the game, (i've only got ssn). How are we playing? fighting back or giving up? We are on the back foot currently but I think we still are the better side. Just need to gain control again and TAKE OUR CHANCES!!!!
Pegosteve Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 For those that are listening to the game, (i've only got ssn). How are we playing? fighting back or giving up? Can't really say because Stringers commentary doesn't allow you to have an opinion!
C-man Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 You have to score when you're on top. Simple as that.
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Time to give Fryatt more than 10 minutes. Get him, Waggy and Dyer on. Lets go for this. Agreed. We need the players who can make an impact, Waggy can make something happen and Fryatt is still capable of scoring
FoxyPV Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Cunningham sounds like he's being given the run around
Kitchandro Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 christ, why is it forbidden to say anything bad about howard, if it had been fryatt missing the peno, half the forum would have been moaning. howard wins some headers but they rarely go to a city player, he gives away far to many free kicks, he encourages the team to play hoof ball, he misses the target far too often, he's got no pace, he's not very mobile... if you want to overlook all that and worship him as a god, fair enough... but allow me my opinion. i don't hate him, i'm as pleased for him as anyone when he does score - but we really need someone who offers more. look at a player like Huseklepp, that's my dream centre forward. Right, I saw us play Derby last week, and had you done the same, you wouldn't be saying that. We played some really nice football, and not just hoofball. He gives away free kicks because the refs are twats. I don't worship him, I know his limitations, but there's no need to slate him when he's actually doing well, and he has been a good player for us over the last 3 years. 'Right footed it's there!!!!' No it's not Stringer, shut the fook up!!!!
Guest shearfox Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 One of those games missed pen and hit the post... Now Kings off!
Zingari Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 This game is going far too quickly. apparently most games go too quickly for steve howard
