Attendance v Doncaster

So this is cheap then?

Interesting.

Although I have a horrible feeling something is happening on Saturday.......

Says it all.

Shite advertising, complete mistake by the club to not try and promote it big time via the Mercury - but only through lcfc.com, which we're all starting to establish is fvcking shit.

So we're in agreement, it's fvcking shit.

Tried to get 2 tickets in K today, best I could do was G. Good sign.

So I suppose it could be more shit

Irrelevant IMO. Tickets cost leass than 3 pints of beer. Its just our home support is embarassing

It's one of the highest in the league isn't it?

Our home support vocally is shit but our home support in terms of numbers has always been quite good. We nearly always break 20k.

DAN LCFC all you seem to do is moan and moan on hear, 25,000 is not bad at all even with the cheap tickets. Its the penultimate weekend before xmas, everyones spending money on kids and out shopping etc Plus its not Man Utd we are playing its Doncaster!!! Get a grip man!

Plus your point for the advertising...last year we did that with the mercury v Plymouth and didn't sell out attendance that day 27,000

Too much moaning for my liking.. I remember when we were getting around 11,000 under David (out) Pleat...

It didnt stop me going, home and away....

Moan moan moan...

Mind you.. it was about £3 to get in..

lol

I know who we're playing against - I'm quite aware of that, I'm also aware that over the years prices have gone up and as a result attendances have gone down, so when you see a game as cheap as this, you'd think people would be all over it, do you not?

I didn't say we sold out - I said we actually got MORE against Plymouth, purely due to big Mercury advertising, no big price cuts (nothing significant IIRC) yet due to lack of advertising, we're not even going to get that high with tickets as cheap as £6.

Dan what im trying to say is that whatever price the tickets 25,000 v Doncaster is pretty good,. We're hardly flying in the league are we and its very near to xmas, people are busy!!!You dont seem to understand that threes many other things in life people need t do before xmas than going down the football 'because its cheap'

They'd manage to "get themselves down the football" and "dig out the money" if we were playing Forest this weekend.

Dont see your point there what so ever, you need to think of what your saying mate.....we are going to get the same attendance probably higher than we did against both Derby and Forest this weekend!!!!

TBF we only got 24,000 last monday. Probably because everyone realised it was on TV.

Again, that completely wasn't the point.

My point is - if we were playing Forest on a Saturday 3pm, with prices of say £25 adults - we'd get more than £6 against Doncaster, now, due to us getting more against Forest - what about the fans who'd pay £25 to watch us play Forest, and not pay £6 to watch us play Doncaster? Howcome as soon as it's Forest they can all of a sudden find the money/time?

Forest was barely a comparable fixture anyway, Monday night on Sky in absolutely baltic conditions, at a stupid price, yet we'll get a similar number. Congratulations.

Doesn't really matter if it's cheap, we are still not worth seeing until we are in the top 6 is how a lot of people see it.

Not me. This will be my first game of the season due to the fact it's the only one i've been able to afford. If i could go every week i would love to. But due to the financial climate and having to pay bills etc. that has to take preference unfortunately. Oh and i reckon 25,000+.:D

According to OS. There is only 3k left. So that means there should be 29500. :chant:

The home allocation is about that much isn't it? the 3K will be how much of that hasn't been sold, not the whole stadium.

So we've sold 26,500ish in the home end. If Donny have sold out their allocation (which I doubt) it would be 29,500, as it stands.

I know what you mean, I do think we just have a lot of lazy people in the City who only turn up to the big games, but I think that's to be expected, every club is like that.

I don't know why people knock our vocal support - I mean it's not good compared to the old days but in terms of other club's home support these days I think it's pretty good. I've been to a number of away games over the past 3 seasons and the home support has been mostly disappointing. Coventry the other month was one of the few times the home fans actually sang at us for any length of time.

But I think we're a lot better than most for that side of things.

And tbh I think our attendances are decent in comparison too.

I think it will be a fair few. When I went to get mine a week ago a lot of sections were full or close to it. Only the corners were showing green (always the last to go)

Have a word, Cov's home support is shocking.
