Wycombe Fox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Awful for the lad. Takes the shine off a good win. He'll get top treatment.
MikeyT Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Gutted for the lad. Really hope he makes a speedy recovery. Best wishes to him.
I am Rod Hull Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Poor lad, Tom Kennedy to be recalled then i guess?
jonthefox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Terrible news.. get well soon me laddo. Does anyone else think bruno will stay now?
ian_marshall Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Very disappointed for him. He's been very good since he joined the club and seems to be a really nice chap away from the pitch. Get well soon Greg, and let's hope that's not the last time we've seen you in a City shirt.
Mee Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Awful tackle. As soon as it hapenned you knew it would be serious. Get well soon lad.
Corky Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Ouch, the injury sounds terrible and you don't know what the pyschological impact will be when he returns to the game. Get well soon Greg.
cc_star Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Get well soon Greg, even if you don't turn out for us again. Being selfish, at least Berner is more than an able replacement
Swalker Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 very bad news for him, the new CB did RL say that he can play left back? Will we see him playing for Leicester again as he will go back to Man City I guess?
Jimmy Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Poor lad, Tom Kennedy to be recalled then i guess? his loan is up anyway in a week or so very bad news for him, the new CB did RL say that he can play left back? Will we see him playing for Leicester again as he will go back to Man City I guess? If Berner is playing he'll be happy to stay, he said he only wants to leave for 1st team football not that he doesn't want to be here
Shipman Out Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Disapponted he's far better than Berner and will be sadly missed, I wish him all the best and hope he recovers.
Collymore Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Disapponted he's far better than Berner and will be sadly missed, I wish him all the best and hope he recovers. He's better going forward than Berner but I'm still not sure about his defensive positioning. get well soon.
mountsorrel fox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Cunningham is a brilliant prospect for the future lets hope that this freak injury won't harm that in the future!
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 If there's one professional you want to come in for the unfortunate Greg, then it's Berner. Superb professional. He'll do a steady, solid job. Get well soon Greg!
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 If there's one professional you want to come in for the unfortunate Greg, then it's Berner. Superb professional. He'll do a steady, solid job. Get well soon Greg! I just hope he does not get ripped a new arsehole on Monday by Sinclair and Dyer. No good against pace.
Narborough_fox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Get well soon. Very good player, hope he recovers fully.
sphericalfox Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Berner is a good enough replacement but hasn't got the legs for a full 90mins anymore. Which then becomes a liability. I think Berner will play against Man City, which will be his swansong, but I feel Sven will be looking for 2 LBs now.
acooling08 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 I reckon Bruno is better than Cunningham defensively. Very unfortunate for Greg. Hope they show the tackle today on FLS
Sylvie85 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Was a horrible tackle, looked like he was late and well over the ball. Was ashame for the lad, you could see by his reaction straight away. Get well soon greg.
blue army 1988 Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Terrible news.. get well soon me laddo. Does anyone else think bruno will stay now? I hope Bruno does stay. I rate him more than cunningham but I can also see why Sven likes Cunningham becasue he is the future.
Dylan Posted 1 January 2011 Posted 1 January 2011 Extremely disappointing for the lad. At least we've got decentish cover in Bruno Berner. Wish him a speedy recovery. Time frame? Am I being very optimistic thinking he still has a part to play this season?
