Vichai Raksriaksorn, who recently took over the Championship side, said this would be a good chance for Thai fans to watch an English club play in Bangkok. The match, which kicks off at 6pm, will help the Thai players in their preparations for the Asian Games in November and the Suzuki Cup (Southeast Asian championship) in December, said Vichai who is chairman and CEO of King Power Group. I'm all for quality signings, but Sven has already said the team is too quiet (it must be really quiet if he thinks it is as he's really quiet himself) so I think the owners 'forcing' two more nationalities on the team will make matters worse. Can't see that China would have anyone good enough to play for us If they're still on, then I presume it will be a slow burner and they'd take some time to pick up the basics of English & get up to pace of the English game.
