All the best for the game and the rest of your season. Hopefully see you in the Premiership next season.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Been on the Man City Blue Moon fans forum a couple of times and they seem to think it will be around 2-0 or 3-0. You would of thought they would be more confident of a Man City win instead of plumping for Leicester
The Goat Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 It appears that Balotelli is out for a fortnight or so. Think we may see Adebayor make his final appearance for us in this game now. Knowing me I'll be miles off with my team prediction.

marbelladave Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 This is not easy for me to say as I love the cup, but without being able to put out a settled side I do not think we have a hope of overturning Citeh whatever team they send. So I am really not that bothered, I shall not be going as it is on sunday, so it's ESPN for me. What I would like to see is decent performance featuring Bamba and Waghorn and maybe a few other changes to give someone like Moussa a run out. All in all a bit of a distraction in the middle of a two week re-organisation period that will be pivotal to the rest of our season.
Callabinho Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 The F.A. Cup is one of the oldest and most famous competitions in the world I very much doubt Abe doesn't realise how special it is But how many times have foreign players fluffed it? I just feel Abe would struggle to cope with the whole occasion, but then again there is only a handful of Man City players who have experienced the F.A cup.
demon_dog Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 We all know our biggest problem is the defence, with injuries and loanees not being available, plus of course selling defenders. So who will our back line consist of? Didn't I read somewhere that Abe has also played in defence? Correction; Just searched LCFC player profiles and it states that Yuki can play anywhere along the back line. While he may not be an out and out defender, he knows how to win the ball and his distribution is pretty good. What do you think?

Was just about to post a team with him at right back he's dropped back there a couple of times when oakley has come on a naughton was pushed forward. Weale Abe Samba Hobbs Berner Oakley King Wellens Dyer Gally Vassell
Christoph Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Rather have Abe as right back then Neilson. Gonna be a tough game not sure 4-3-3 would be the best way, think we need to cramp the midfield up abit, they have pace...we do not

paddy Agyemang Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 if NEILSON plays or LAMEY then defo out before the game starts, sven hurry up n get naughton back christ
xplicitmaterial Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale NAUGHTON ( have faith ) hobbs bamba berner Abe King Wellens Waghorn Vassell Dyer subs Yakubu Heskey Owen Beckham Given Mee Gally

I just feel Abe would struggle to cope with the whole occasion, but then again there is only a handful of Man City players who have experienced the F.A cup. so you're solution is to bring in someone that's scarred to tackle and has basically been crap for 18 months in Matt Oakley? Yuki is not a weak player, just because he's small doesn't mean he'll get bullied
cc_star Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Zabelatta (spelling?) has had his red card overturned and is now available to face us
GianEmmo Zola Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale Neilson Hobbs Bamba Berner Dyer Wellens Abe King Gallagher Vassell Logan,Moreno,Oakley,Howard,Moussa,N'Guessan,Waghorn
STUHILL Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Berner Abe Wellens King Dyer Vassel Gallagher Fingers crossed for Naughton, otherwise I guess Neilsen gets the nod which is worrying. Would like to see Waggy given some game time and was tempted to pull Gallagher but after 2 wins and his contribution against Swansea, can't really drop him. I just hope we put a good show on. Can't see it being a cricket score as Man CIty not the most attacking, well lets hope not anyway. Keep it tight and who knows!!!
Jimmy Posted 7 January 2011 Author Posted 7 January 2011 1 change from monday then with Bamba in for Morrison, although wouldn't mind seeing Schlupp or John being given a try on the wing
Joe. Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale Naughton --- Bamba --- Hobbs --- Berner Abe --- King --- Wellens Gallagher --- Vassell --- Dyer We won't be anywhere near as offensive as 4-3-3, but I'm be surprised if the team was anything other than this.
Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale Naughton --- Bamba --- Hobbs --- Berner Abe --- King --- Wellens Gallagher --- Vassell --- Dyer This. I think i'd prefer Waggy in for Gally though. We need a MASSIVE team performance to get anything out of this and I just think Waggy would contribute more to the overall effort. With a front 3 putting a shift it'll make it a lot trickier for them and i'm just not sure Gally's up to this.
lcfcliam Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Why is everyone saying Waghorn will offer more than Gallagher? It's my opinion but personally i think Gally's had a much better season than waggy n everytime ive seen Waghorn he's been very poor maybe its lack of game time? Don't mind who starts though as long as we give our all :sge:
clarkeylcfc Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Zabelatta (spelling?) has had his red card overturned and is now available to face us Dyer will dust him
Lisburn Fox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Berner Abe Wellens King Waghorn Dyer Vassell Logan, Moreno, Moussa, Gallagher, Howard,Oakley, N'Guesson
