chili_con_carne Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 When did he last score!? He's had quite a few one on one's this season and has missed them all! Just needs a goal i think. But then again he is never at his best in the winter is he...
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Last scored vs Sunthorpe. He actually scored a few one on ones in League 1 but then that was most probably was because it was League 1. I'd drop him now actually, bring him off the bench for effect and start Waghorn out wide. A

acooling08 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Tbf to Gally he hit the woodwork, Dyer missed a 1-on-1. Dyer isn't good enough. He's quick but not much else. Can't cross, can't shoot. 4-4-2 now dropping Dyer and playing Vassell with Yak is surely the best option.
foxfan13 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Lloyd is becoming quite a frustrating player, we seem to have a few of these, i think he has performed better this season when coming off the bench to run at players late on in the game
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I Said this weeks ago and people gave me stick...
foxfan13 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I Said this weeks ago and people gave me stick... You'll always get stick on here for not following the majority.... but then again i think that we need differing opinions for the forum to work properly
Wymsey Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Lloyd + Gally = their faults for not scoring their numerous chances they've had. They are quality midfielders but quality midfielders also scores goals too and we need them to starting on Saturday.

shailen Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 No one can blame gally for today! He was excellent maybe even our best.player. he had two chances hitting the bar both.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I hate how Dyer and Gally can't finish chances, easy chances tbh. They should be at least hitting the target.
dpjfox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 i thought dyer looked sharp today, yes Gally had a lot of the ball but imo is too slow
Wymsey Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 We got another 3 years of Dyer so don't be too disappointed with him just yet

So we just put someone else in who won't. Remember - last week we dominated Premier League Man City with this formation. It's not the formations fault we can't score easy chances or keep our concentration til the end. That's individual's fault. Whittingham.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................................................................. dream on
ScouseFox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Dyer was decent today. Despite not doing too much he's always a threat with his pace, although yeah, he should bury a chance like the one he had today. Gally was the better of the two today, was unlucky not to score. Also, why do none of King, Abe or Wellens ever shoot from the edge of the area? Always try one pass too many, happened on a few occasions today.

Wellens has always been like that. Shame because we all saw against Doncaster what he can do when he lets fly. Didn't he try one long ranger today that went just wide though?

Didn't he try one long ranger today that went just wide though? Yeah, he hit a curler just wide early on, but the amount of times any of the midfield three were around the edge of the area but refused the chances was a lot. In all fairness, for our goal there were chances to shoot, but we worked it well. Not a complaint, just wondering if they're told not to shoot or almost don't back themselves to hit the target

I often watch other teams scoring long rangers and think well that's probably because they have a go more. And tbf our midfielder's should.
Kitchandro Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 surely now waghorn deserves a chance..... I didn't see the game today but Dyer can't keep missing chances. I know we all slated Sousa for wasting Waghorn on the right but now I think it's the best option. Dyer's a great impact sub but goes missing in a lot of games
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I Think it should be LW: Gallagher ST: Yakubu RW: Vassell IMO.
Kitchandro Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 I Think it should be LW: Gallagher ST: Yakubu RW: Vassell IMO. I cannot watch another game with Vassell on the wing I'm afraid. It's either Yakubu or Vassell in this formation.
ibbosuk Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Just seen there goal on sky, long ball, which was then knocked on twice with 2 free headers to our box and Hume in loads of space drills it home from the edge of the box, an all round shocking goal to concede defensively. For the first time this season I have serious doubts about us reaching the play offs. As bad as it was, that should of been just a consolation goal for them. We just can not stop squandering chances. (In particular Dyer & Gallagher all season) We have to start dropping players who keep missing chances as its just gone on for far to long. It must of felt like a defeat today for the players. IT DID TO ME!
