Kingfisher Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 I have to congratulate your board on what could turn out to be one of their best decisions ever . The appointment of Sven Goran . Having followed his career for many years , read his excellent books and observed his dealings in the transfer market i believe your club will advance tremendously with him at the helm. Picking up Bamba for sweeties and Yakubu on loan two recent examples of the mans genius .

Having followed his career for many years , read his excellent books and observed his dealings in the transfer market i believe your club will advance tremendously with him at the helm. Picking up Bamba for sweeties and Yakubu on loan two recent examples of the mans genius . A Sven fan. I am not alone. Check out my site www.footballsven.blogspot.com The good thing is that most Leicester Fans are happy with his work so far. Even spending money the fans realise it still takes time. He has turned around the club in a really positive way and its so far so good. I loved watching the game today and Sven and Machini (long standing freinds) had a big smile and a hug at the end. I hear the Man City fans where giving the old swede a warm reception. Isnt it funny how Sven has often been reported by British media as being a faliure since leaving Lazio, and when he returns to Man City they welcome him in with open arms. And even at the Walkers the fans on here told me the Man City fans where singing his name before the match.
bluefox9er Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 I just hope he's here for a LONG time and not for a GOOD time...
Kingfisher Posted 18 January 2011 Author Posted 18 January 2011 Scott your blog on Sven is excellent and thorough ! My favourite quality about Sven not highlighted there is his ability to identify a players weak spots and mind blockages . Then help the player to overcome and mature into a much better all rounded team player .
Jacnah Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 ive just come in from the pub and put SSN on....so apologies for my slightly boozed up love in........They showed Sven's interview after the match...i think i'm in love with this guy...he's definitely not who the national media would have you believe and he represents all the good things I want my club to be!!!:
Kingfisher Posted 18 January 2011 Author Posted 18 January 2011 I travelled down from Scotland on Saturday to support Bamba in his first championship league game . Spoke with Svens Assistant Fazackerley and Yakubu after the game . Absolute gentlemen too !

Yes you are correct, there is also so much more I would love to put on their but the biggest problem is finding the time to it. Just like Wenger, Sven is a strong believer in Sports Psychology. Have you read the book Sven wrote with sports psychologist Willi Railo? He talks about his Lazio team not believing in it. I have felt that the English media have not been attacking him for a while now. Would you agree? The Sun apologies to Sven after England lost 4-1 to Germany in the World Cup was funny . Okay, the apologize was a little patronizing, but I think most people see Sven’s 3 quarter finals with England as positive rather than negative as the papers at the called it.

However if you ask the Man City fans, the Notts County Fans, the Ivory Coast fans what they think of Sven, they certainly will call him a gentleman and a man that loves football beyond anything else. I think the media maybe wanted an England manager that was shouting and having a go at his players whilst they where losing in matches. I don’t think the calm style went down well with the general public but that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong. Sven isn’t perfect, as none of us are, but I am happy to see you are aware of the media has in the past been very unfair.

Yes read it a few times as its the best ive found on the subject and have given copies to a number of professional players that i mentor. The media in the UK have one main hobby. Build you up as high as you can so they can take great pleasure in knocking you down. Reporters are more rare than hens teeth and have been replaced by and large by fabricators. If Sven stays long enough i can honestly see your team in the champions league within 5 years. His strengths vastly outweigh his few human frailties .

Rich Fox Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Sven seems a real gentleman and I never believed all the rubbish in the sunday papers about him. We are playing some of the best football ever seem at Leicester city and I cannot wait for the next game. We can get in the premiership and stay there with sven, we are a decent family club with a large fan base who will chant svens name all day long if he carries on the great work he and Derek are doing.
StanSP Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 If you don't love Sven, you're a very naughty boy or your name is cc_star. :sge:
cc_star Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 If you don't love Sven, you're a very naughty boy or your name is cc_star. :sge: I love Sven making a comment before Christmas in despair that he was persisting with the dreadful Kirkland & Davies whilst he was injured/head wasn't in the right place, doesn't mean I don't love Sven
acooling08 Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 How does Sven get so much snatch? Do women throw themselves at him, or has he got the best chat up lines ever?
Jackirius Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 How does Sven get so much snatch? Do women throw themselves at him, or has he got the best chat up lines ever? Big dick. Word gets round.
z-layrex Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Sven could knock on my door asking to sleep with my gf and i'd still ask him if he needed a fluffer...
