Kent Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 I like the baggy ones and hate the tight fitting ones. Baggy is modern. But each to their own of course Best kit is the admiral one from the late 70s IMO Baggy is modern? What?
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 I don't want to be critical because you've clearly done a great job with photoshop or whatever there, but personally I think the first lot are too plain. If I'm paying 40 quid for it I'd expect a bit more trim, otherwise it's just a plain blue shirt with the Leicester badge on. But again, I quite like the pin striped ones.
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Baggy is modern? What? Well in the 70s they were tight. Then in the 80s when the sponsors came in they got baggy, and most kits are baggy now. They both looked good in their own way but it all depends on the time their in. I think tight fit looks rubbish with a sponsor, mixing old with new just looks cheap. If it's baggy buy a smaller size
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Looks the same as this seasons kit Really white socks anybody?
nothin2seehere Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Just me that doesn't like a white away kit? Unless someone's beaten me to it, yes I love the white away kit in the first. Not a huge fan of the pin-stripes though. Good work Ashley .
Jackirius Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 I like this kind of design, Courtsey of Chrisuki in the Fifa 11 update thread...
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 This is the standard we should be aiming for This is when kit designers earnt their money
Ashley Posted 24 January 2011 Author Posted 24 January 2011 As requested, based on this kit below taken from http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Leicester_City/images/leicester_city_1886-1890.gif AWAY KIT

Sexy design though
dave_the_fox Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Do you mean old? I was a bit annoyed when they revealed the kit we've got now because they told us it was going to be old school, and it clearly isn't. But then I grew to like it. I'd like an old school one too, with a collar. No, no I don't. The current badge has been used for what- two seasons?
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 No, no I don't. The current badge has been used for what- two seasons? Oh right the badge I thought it was just a temporary one for this kit?
dave_the_fox Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 No mate that's it! Fox has a lovely White nose
Fosse Boy Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 All of Ashley's are ace. Any chance of mocking up a red away one or green with yellow pinstripes?
Narborough_fox Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 If there's no hassle involved would you mind mocking me up a pink one for the charity one (Breast cancer care). Cheers
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 No mate that's it! Fox has a lovely White nose Ah I didn't know it wasn't changing back. When they first brought it out they said it was a special 125 years badge. The I thought they just couldn't be arsed to change it back this season
StanSP Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 That brown/blue is really nice. On a computer screen though. Not sure how sexy it will look in real life! Wouldn't mind a red kit for next season. Maybe with some black somewhere on it.
dbtcity Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 The ones that Ashley have made look quality I like the old school stripe one.... One problem though next seasons shirts should have prem badges on the sleeve not championship
NGoloMode Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 If we push the yellow kit to be the third kit we can make the 2nd kit white.
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 I quite like the idea of yellow and black stripes for the away kit I think white is more traditional Leicester though
Ashley Posted 24 January 2011 Author Posted 24 January 2011 All of Ashley's are ace. Any chance of mocking up a red away one or green with yellow pinstripes? Of course, will be done for tomorrow my friend.

Sometimes I'm sort of glad the club's very unlikely to take supporters' suggestions into account because it would kill me (in a bad way) to see us playing in that!

I don't know why but i actually love that kit, probably wouldn't look quite as good in the flesh as mentioned earlier though..
