Edmund Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Was at pride Park supposedly watching the Yak. What's the terms of the loan deal? Can they recall him? I've got a sneaky suspicion he was scouting Naughton, King and co. Afterall they tried to sign Naughton from Sheff Utd a few years back but were beaten to his signature by Spurs. It would be a travesty if they were able to recall Yakubu.

Austin Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 He was definitely there, not really sure why? Maybe just watching Yakubu? or possibly in line to replace Clough in the morning
syston_fox Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Former derby player isn't he? Might just be a fan.
whitlock Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Did the commentators say he played for Derby?? Maybe just watching..
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Former derby player isn't he? Might just be a fan. Did the commentators say he played for Derby?? Maybe just watching.. These. He was also a coach at Derby, so chances are it's a fond reunion plus a chance to keep tabs on the Yak. Also just seen Rooney's "wondergoal" and Yakubu's was better.
STUHILL Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Yeh commentators made out it was just because he was Ex Derby. Saha scoring for fun so I'm not worried
Salieri Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 As long as he wasn't there to watch Andy King i'm not worried, the lad is priceless.
FeedtheYak Posted 12 February 2011 Posted 12 February 2011 Saha's injured. But there is no option for recall so he's ours
shailen Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Maybe he was just monitoring how the yaks.doin, because.he is there player after all
Guest BlueBrett Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 These. He was also a coach at Derby, so chances are it's a fond reunion plus a chance to keep tabs on the Yak. Also just seen Rooney's "wondergoal" and Yakubu's was better. Not sure. Both bloody fantastic! Does do my head in a bit though all this Prem love. Kingy's goal last week would have caused wet pants all around Europe if we were in the Champions League spots.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 was a former derby player and coach so im guessing he was watching the game and the yak. our loan deal for yakubu is a view to permanent so hopefully they dont want him back
Jimmy Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 do you really think we don't send people to watch our players that are out on loan?
Ashley Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Neville swap deal for Naughton in the summer? Hope not because I'd like to see Naughton in a blue shirt of which is a Leicester one.
richardsfoxes Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Been publically known for over a year now, everton have no money but the chairman doesnt want to sell the club to someone who isnt passionate about the club. Hence loaning Yakubu to us, as we were prepared to pay all of his wages, so highly doubt they would have the finances to purchase King or Naughton.
