topharry123 Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 In a hypothetical sense, if we were told that we could either have a draw against QPR without playing the game, or play the game and risk a win or a lose, how many would take the safe draw and how many would go and play and try for all 3? Personally i'd go for it, I think we have a great chance of getting 3 points this weekend.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 tough question because : Leeds should beat Doncaster Norwich should beat Preston Burnley should beat Crystal Palace
lcfc_jme Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 QPR will have a go from the off and pile forward. If anything, their set-up plays much more into our hands than the way teams such as Cov and Derby set-up. If we pass the ball anything like we can, we should create a fair few decent chances out there. Depends how clinical we are infront of goal as to what we get from their gaff.
TuptonFox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 play it. its always worth a crack, there's no shame in losing to the top team, anything can happen!
dannythefox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 play it, king and wellens have got to play a blinder soon!
ajthefox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 I was expecting something stupid but it's an interesting question actually, a few things worth good consideration. I think I'd play it. The extra 2 points for the win is worth risking the one point for a draw.
acooling08 Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 I'd take a point. I have a feeling our goal difference will take another blow.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Play it - but we're going to do that anyway.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Play it. Always. One of my pet hates is when a journalist says to the manager of a smaller team 'you'd have taken a draw before the game wouldn't you?' and the manager says 'yes'. Personally I'd never take a draw when there are maximum points on offer. I still think we've got the potential to win every game we play, including QPR. Obviously we won't but we're a good enough side to give anyone else in this division a run for there money home or away if we play as well as we can do.
Fox1651 Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 usually i would say play the game, however on this occasion as i think we would lose 3-0, i would take the draw well i think i would?
Leicester_Mad Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Play it....1 point doesn't do much more for us than losing. 3 points would help our cause a lot more.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 The qpr game is one game from the biggest 3 aways this year (cardiff qpr n forest) I think we can get something from
Swalker Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 I've got a feeling that after having two disapointing results its the Leicester way to then go away and turn over the top team. I would play it. If the champions league leicester turn up then we will walk it . But its if. We normally step up to the quality of our opposition (Man city this year), step up keep Tarrabt quiet, keep Ricardo in Leicester and feed the Yak and we will come away with 3 points
cairnsy Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Qpr arent in great form atm, I would have a go at them
Corky Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Play it- we could well put in the performance of the season.
ForzaLeicester Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Play it, Because if we didn't I wouldn't get a day on the piss away from this dump for the day ;-)
thybluefox Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Go for it, I'd rather go down fighting than drawing and hoping other teams lose.
savedave Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 play it. I'm confident we'll get something. Prediction: 0-1 (Abe, 52).
Fox92 Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Obviously play it, who knows? Watford won at Loftus Road 1-3, so why can't we? The pitch should be in top condition so that we can play football, where as the pitch at Sheffield United and coming up Scunthorpe are horrible, so they are the more harder games in footballing terms. Just make sure we stop the threat of the wide men, deal with that Helguson's ariel threat and stop Adel Taarabat (I can't spell his name). We arn't expected to win at Loftus Road, but I don't think we were last season because I'm sure the previous game they won at Derby 2-5 or something like that, and then look what we did!
luckyalex13 Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Play it without a doubt, i reckon we can turn them over and put the last few games behind us. (Ricardo to tbe man of the match and save a penalty )
Blake Carrington Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Qpr arent in great form atm, I would have a go at them Erm not wanting to be confrontational but how do you work that out..... 1 Swansea City (2) 8 6 1 1 17 5 12 2.12 0.62 2.37 19 WwWwLwdW 2 Queens Park Rangers (1) 8 5 3 0 12 3 9 1.50 0.37 2.25 18 wWdDwWdW 3 Leicester City (7) 8 5 2 1 15 8 7 1.87 1.00 2.12 17 DlWwWwWd 4 Cardiff City (3) 8 5 2 1 14 7 7 1.75 0.87 2.12 17 wWlDWwDW 5 Norwich City (4) 8 4 3 1 12 8 4 1.50 1.00 1.87 15 wDdWlWdw 6 Burnley (8) 8 4 3 1 10 6 4 1.25 0.75 1.87 15 wdwWlwdD
Charl91 Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 If I was playing the odds, I'd like to think I'd go for the draw; I'm a pessimist and I just know that we'd lose and then end up 1 point off a play-off position. Then again, if you already know the outcome, then there's not much point watching the game, so I'd probably end up choosing to play for the sake of it.
