ajthefox Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 During the game is stupid but if someone wants to boo after a really shit performance though then that's fair enough. Players should be able to take praise and criticism.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 It's part of football, suck it up and deal with it. It's probably the best part. Better than the players, the goals, the shorts, even the pies. Booooo! I'm dissatisfied! Listen to my dissatisfaction in no uncertain terms. Look! I'm SO ANGRY I'm making this noise. It'll make you play better, you won't want to be on the end of this again. You'll probably actually thank me later. Boooooooooo!
Zingari Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 i've found that if the missus gives me boos it badly affects my sexual performance no, hang on a minute , that's booze isn't it
NorthEastFox Posted 4 March 2011 Author Posted 4 March 2011 Thanks for some good stuff here..and some stuff from guys that better not sit near me. And yes I was at there the season lcfc got relegated to div3. I also watched leicester throughout that year in the lower div, where were you? Booing your kid at sportsday? If you want to boo at walkers stadium there is an area for you: the away fans area.
Jordan Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 If people are that miserable at football games, then why do they go? As for the "I paid my money; I'll do what I want," argument, well, football doesn't always have a happy ending and you should consoder
Jordan Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 ****, my phone is being stupid Anyway, ... you should consider the risks and benefits of any purchase. Everybody wants to see their teams win, but games can only have a maximum of one winner. Now, if a team plays in an unsportsmanlike manner, boo away. But booing your team when they put in a decent effort but don't get the result they want is boorish behavior. The ball is round; we were arguably worse at Sheffield United than home to Coventry, yet won the former and drew the latter.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 I've never booed but I do think there are circumstances in which it is excusable. Don't boo the performance because nobody likes to be rubbish and the players are fully aware when they aren't playing their best so just give them your support at these times. If however you observe a complete lack of effort and interest and you get the impression that the players are just counting down the minutes til they can go spend your admission fee on entertaining one of their mistresses or getting their ass waxed then boo away and let them know you expect better.
MPH Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 I'd definitely boo my own kid on sports day. I want to raise a winner, not a loser. Provided I have a kid at some stage, that is. I really hope this is a joke.....

That's the only time I'd boo. If the commitment to the cause is there but it just isn't going our way then fair enough, but if the players just didn't put the effort in I wouldn't be worried about booing because the players might not like it.
AoWW Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 i've found that if the missus gives me boos it badly affects my sexual performance no, hang on a minute , that's booze isn't it Your missus told me she needs the boos to erase the memory of your sexual performance.
Wymsey Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 I don't normally boo but i do get a good ballacking by the people in the next box by telling me to 'sush' when i do.
shailen Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 So what do you want us to do when we are playing shite? Give them a standing ovation . If a team is playing bad, then theres nothing wrong with booing, it lets the.team know they must do better!
Zingari Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Your missus told me she needs the boos to erase the memory of your sexual performance. don't keep dragging up ancient history

blue army 1988 Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 The thing is people give it the " I pay my money I'm entitled to shout whatever I want" and that's a load of Bollocks, just because your entitled to an opinion doesn't mean its right,.. it shows a lack of class and intelligence to abuse your own players during a game,... keep it for down the pub with your mates An opinion is what it is. It isn't right or wrong. I do agree that we shouldn't boo the team during the game but I do think it's ok to do at half time or after the final whistle. It's sort of like the fans team talk.
Corky Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 So what do you want us to do when we are playing shite? Give them a standing ovation . If a team is playing bad, then theres nothing wrong with booing, it lets the.team know they must do better! Don't acknowledge them. Just leave the ground. I can understand booing after a 4 or 5-0 defeat but people seem to need to the slightest excuse to boo or complain.

I can understand booing after a 4 or 5-0 defeat but people seem to need to the slightest excuse to boo or complain. That would be hilarious if the whole ground just stood up and filed out without making one bit of sound.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I had to bollock a group of lads, who were in L1 last week after chanting 'weale weale' cant say iv ever seen them there before
