wakeyfox01 Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 That is one of the most deluded things I've read all season. And that says a lot. Well he was, to say Yuki lacks effort is the most braindead thing I've seen you write. And that says a lot
Kitchandro Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Well he was, to say Yuki lacks effort is the most braindead thing I've seen you write. And that says a lot No. He rarely tries. He often stands around or jogs alongside a player. You just say he works hard because it's a Japanese stereotype. It's actually quite far from the truth. He also can't cope with the pace of the English game.
Jimmy Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 That is one of the most deluded things I've read all season. And that says a lot. then you'r a total tard, we basically had a 2 man midfield as King and Oakley were MIA
Mikey Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Most of our fans are ****s to be fair so I'm not surprised.
Kitchandro Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 then you'r a total tard, we basically had a 2 man midfield as King and Oakley were MIA We had a no man midfield. They were all useless, and 3 of them didn't try. What's Abe got to do with Oakley and King?
Jimmy Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 We had a no man midfield. They were all useless, and 3 of them didn't try. What's Abe got to do with Oakley and King? he was doing their work as well as his own, he is a holding player, by definition its not a flashy job, his job it to get the ball and give it to King/Wellens/whoever, he did this all night long, Yuki Abe did his job 5 or 6 of his team mates did not, when watching Abe think of Makelele, as that's the role he's performing
Kitchandro Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 he was doing their work as well as his own, he is a holding player, by definition its not a flashy job, his job it to get the ball and give it to King/Wellens/whoever, he did this all night long, Yuki Abe did his job 5 or 6 of his team mates did not, when watching Abe think of Makelele, as that's the role he's performing No. He's not a holding midfielder. He's not strong and can't cope with the pace. I was at the game and he was not doing nearly enough running. Stop comparing him to Makelele. It's just ridiculous. He's not performing the same kind of role at all. Sven wants him to, but he can't. He wasn't doing a job at all, let alone someone elses. He did nothing. He's not good enough.
accessory Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Abe was one of the VERY few players that never hid. If we'd had a few more like that, maybe we could have rescued a point tonight.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 Ok for one reason or another we played awful, but a a big percentage of our fans were a ****ing disgrace tonight , booing Ricardo when his name was read out was just the start of it all, the norwich fans were right to sing your support is ****ing shit because tonight it was .. a totally horrible evening all round This is England, not continental Europe. There is no tifos mentality. When the team plays shite, support is shite. You only sing when you're winning (or at least play well).
Kibworth Fox Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 I felt ashamed to be amoungst some of our "so called" fans tonight. All this booing of our own players has to stop, the same people that were calling for Weale's head at the start of the season are,i'm guessing the ones that are now his biggest fans! How can hammering Ricardo/Vassell/Oakley benifit anyone??? He needs our support, as does every player that pulls on the shirt.
Jimmy Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 No. He's not a holding midfielder. He's not strong and can't cope with the pace. I was at the game and he was not doing nearly enough running. He's not good enough. then you are an idiot and I suggest you pick a new sport as you clearly no nothing about football, a holding player isn't supposed to do a lot of running, he sits in the middle just a head of the defence and mops up, that's it, its the job he's asked to do and its the job he does very well. He made several well timed tackles and interceptions
cc_star Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 Vassell tries hard but gets no where. As someone else expertly put it: He turns attack into.. well.. nothing. THIS! Most of the time it seems that everytime DV receives the ball it's going to turn into an opposition attack Also, Vassell 19 starts 3 goals Waghorn 11 starts 4 goals (most of his starts came when we were rubbish & bottom of the table too) Although I obviously realise Waggy isn't the player for Sven's system

He made several well timed tackles and interceptions No, I know a lot about football thanks. I actually laugh at your suggestion that I don't. He didn't try. And he's not good enough. Can't be bothered to discuss your ridiculous suggestions anymore. bye
evs_the_fox Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 2005-2008 is not what we should be living up to. I would have kiiled for a whole hearted iain Hume type tonight. Aside from the obvious groans about some people craving players running round like headless chickens, is this not in the slightest bit contradictory?
ithuriel Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 I think all the players try to the best of their abilities but against Norwich in the second half we were found to be badly wanting, wanting a miracle maybe but wanting none the less
Simmo86 Posted 9 March 2011 Posted 9 March 2011 No, I know a lot about football thanks. I actually laugh at your suggestion that I don't. He didn't try. And he's not good enough. Him and Naughton are the only ones to come out of last night with any sort of credit! Bet you haven't got a bad word to say about your bumboy Wellens, suppose he had an awesome game!
