anotherharboroughfox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 I thought he had a decent game, better than Yakubu.
acooling08 Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Vassell tries hard but gets no where. As someone else expertly put it: He turns attack into.. well.. nothing.
Stevosevic Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Our fans were pretty disgusting tonight, i was appalled.
Matt Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 I thought the fans were booing the decision of the substitution as Yakubu should have come off not Vassell.
acooling08 Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Our fans were pretty disgusting tonight, i was appalled. Do you know what everyone was clapping about for 5 mins near the Narch fans towards the end of the 1st half?

As someone else expertly put it: He turns attack into.. well.. nothing. because he makes the run forward but has no-one to play it to. Our fans were pretty disgusting tonight, i was appalled. this.
wurmer Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Should never boo any individual player wearing the shirt - should only be for ref's and opposition players.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 8 March 2011 Author Posted 8 March 2011 I thought the fans were booing the decision of the substitution as Yakubu should have come off not Vassell. That would make sense. but still don't agree with the booing though.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 I didnt realise Vassell was boed, thought he was one of the better players tonight. What annoys me is that Yakubu seems to be immune from substitution.
Dilkes Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Do you know what everyone was clapping about for 5 mins near the Narch fans towards the end of the 1st half? I was wondering this, was actually going to make thread but it didnt important enough
The MayneFox Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 I think they were booing at the fact that Sven didnt take off the Yak, Vassell was working hard, i was bemused at the change
Kitchandro Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Booing players because they don't try is perfectly acceptable. Vassell, Yakubu, Abe, Oakley and King all fell into that category tonight. Maybe a bit harsh on King cos we need him to stay, but the rest, they can go, not fit to wear the shirt.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Its fooking terible. It dont do much to the players confidence how do you expect them to pick themselfs up after their so called fans are booing them? Fooking grow up!!!. Even Wellens put his finger to his lips when Ricardo tried punching in first half and told kop to shut up.
MC Prussian Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Didn't hear boos when Vassell went off. I did, however, made my feelings clear when Oakley was substituted.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Didn't hear boos when Vassell went off. I did, however, made my feelings clear when Oakley was substituted. Thats different

I would have killed for all 5 of those to be "wearing the shirt" during the period circa 2005-2008. Some people have seriously short memories.
cc_star Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Booing Vassell? Really? He's been utter rubbish since Yakubu arrived. Waggy has scored more goals & obviously played far, far less - but he's not worth booing (although no one is during a game IMO)

Some people have seriously short memories. 2005-2008 is not what we should be living up to. Just because those players were useless doesn't mean it's any more acceptable not to try now. I would have kiiled for a whole hearted iain Hume type tonight. The least I expect is effort and passion.
tomtom Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Ok for one reason or another we played awful, but a a big percentage of our fans were a ****ing disgrace tonight , booing Ricardo when his name was read out was just the start of it all, the norwich fans were right to sing your support is ****ing shit because tonight it was .. a totally horrible evening all round
MrSpaM Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Even Wellens put his finger to his lips when Ricardo tried punching in first half and told kop to shut up. Key players getting pissed off at the fans, think this is the point the geering needs to stop to be honest
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 I really don't understand the boo boy mentality. It's your team ffs! If you want to bitch and moan then start a blog or something that nobody will read or a least wait until you are having your post match beer with your loser mates so the rest of us don't have to listen to it.
Stevosevic Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 The idiots that booed Vassell and Ricardo...i don't know what to say, it was disgraceful.

When our loudest chants are "Weale,Weale,Weale" or "Waghor,Waghorn,Waghorn!"(when hes not even on the pitch) and the booing of Vassell it tells me all i need to know about our twatty fans. ****in disgrace, not once did i hear a song from the kop(back of SK1 excluded) getting behind our team. The kop today is an equivelent to the family stand at filbert street. Kop my arse.
