millzi Posted 12 March 2011 Posted 12 March 2011 What players do we want to see at the Walkers next season? Personally I'd love to see Alex Smithies, only 21 years old and has so much potential! Stuck on what striker I'd like to see, but I want a young, goalscoring one please.

And certainly to keep Kyle naughton Would be good to keep building a good young squad for the future. This is based upon staying in the championship of course.

Joe Murphy is 29..wouldn't you rather a younger keeper, like you said you wanted a young squad..?

Although he is a quality keeper, and to be honest I wouldn't say no.

Mee as LB New midfielder ( would like to see 4 in the middle), again depending on what league we are in, if we go up maybe try to lure a Hoolahan or Wittingham if they are not playing in the PL. A prolific goal scorer, depending on what league we are in again.

Howard and Waghorn will be offloaded as Sven doesn't rate them, while Yakubu will be back at Everton and Vassell is past his sell-by date. Who comes in will largely depend on the transfer budget which Top makes available.

I think give schullup a run in the team. Why not look at the top of the scoring charts from the champ and lge 1 ? graham at watford would be good as would maynard.

Sign Naughton is priority 1. Ben Mee is 2. A CB to partner Bamba Then look at strikers, Yakubu doesn't do enough for me, great finisher but thats all. Danny Graham or Rickie Lambert if Saints don't go up.

We also don't know what's going to happen with the loanees so they either need signing/re-signing/replacing. The shipping out of reserves/players out on loan will mean improved squad players are needed as well as a few stand out first teamers. Despite our need for stability I can see one last overhaul this summer. 4 key signings for me would be Keeper, Centre mid, Winger, Striker.
