Oh and Stringer's incessant positivity / hope, could it be more grating? I love him generally but when he keeps saying "I can see a penalty or something in this you know..." and stuff like that I just want to get him by the neck.

Precisely. You watch most other teams when they're losing near the end of a game they find some kind of extra gear to at least get the crowd excited and give it a good go - we just don't seem to possess this most of the time.

Seems as if they planned to come and get an early goal and sit on it. Their defence has been so good of late that they can afford to do exactly that.
