Simmo86 Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Are these screen(s) going on the roof or actually inside the ground?
demon_dog Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 I think it ought to be held aloft and walked around the ground by a woman as you see in a Boxing ring. This would certainly cheer the fans. Oh! Just remembered the women fans need cheering too. Therefore a nice piece of totty on one corner and some male hunk on the other. Got to keep AOWW happy.
Bert Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 I could be well wrong here, but I think they'll be going at the top covering the wallpaper type stuff if you get what I mean?
Simmo86 Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 I could be well wrong here, but I think they'll be going at the top covering the wallpaper type stuff if you get what I mean? Yeah, on the banner which goes round the ground with old players on?
Bert Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Yeah, on the banner which goes round the ground with old players on? You've got it. Could be wrong though.
thybluefox Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 IMO there's not room to hang them below the roof where the banner is. For me it has to be in the corners like Man City or as part of the roof like spurs....and given the amount of time they've said it could be installed in, I'm betting its in the corner.
Ricey Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 I could be well wrong here, but I think they'll be going at the top covering the wallpaper type stuff if you get what I mean? Would that not block the view of the fans sat at the back, behind the screen? The roof does slope upwards, so maybe not.
Bert Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Would that not block the view of the fans sat at the back, behind the screen? The roof does slope upwards, so maybe not. Maybe, like I said I could be wrong. We'll see against burnley won't we.
thybluefox Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 will probably just replace the scoreboard with it ? I don't see how if its going to be a full aspect ratio screen.
millzi Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 I want the sunken dug outs... continental style... It's bound to attract to the top players Something a little like this You even get a complimentary drinks holder, as standard.
body102 Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Maybe i was hearing things , but did they also mention that we wont have season ticket booklets next season and that we will be getting some kind of swipe card
Simmo86 Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Maybe i was hearing things , but did they also mention that we wont have season ticket booklets next season and that we will be getting some kind of swipe card Had them at Filbo, I have the sign for it at my house!

JamesLCFC Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Maybe i was hearing things , but did they also mention that we wont have season ticket booklets next season and that we will be getting some kind of swipe card dont see the problem with that, most clubs do it now with tickets you put them into a ticket reader, milton keynes dons do the season ticket thingy because my mate is a fan, it sounds like it works!
The Padster Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 most clubs do it now with tickets you put them into a ticket reader I'd never seen one before Leeds away this year, I was stood like a lemon for a couple of minutes until someone told me what to do.
thybluefox Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Wonder how they'll work on the non-turnstile entrance's to the ground...
whitlock Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Is this being installed ready for next season? Or have they started work on it now?
lcfc"weasel" Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 dont see the problem with that, most clubs do it now with tickets you put them into a ticket reader, milton keynes dons do the season ticket thingy because my mate is a fan, it sounds like it works! Why would you compare a proper football club with MK ******?
thybluefox Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Is this being installed ready for next season? Or have they started work on it now? Could be as early as the Burnley game.
Bugg Posted 23 March 2011 Posted 23 March 2011 Why would you compare a proper football club with MK ******? *sigh* You just can't help yourself can you?
