samjohnson Posted 24 March 2011 Posted 24 March 2011 perhaps if its a shite game they could show porno's on one of the screens Either view we'd be watching somebody getting fooked
lestajigs Posted 24 March 2011 Posted 24 March 2011 perhaps if its a shite game they could show porno's on one of the screens Or what about eastenders on night games?? Ha ha ha
C.J Posted 24 March 2011 Posted 24 March 2011 To be fair, Cov could just put one massive screen up covering one end and it wouldn't get in the way of their 'fans',
m00nie Posted 24 March 2011 Posted 24 March 2011 were probaly getting the screen from cov to help them from administration.
LeicesterLuke Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 Atleast it will improve our half time entertainment?
ajthefox Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 hopefully we can get something like this at west brom...
samjohnson Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 It would be fantastic if they set it to purposefully malfunction like the one at Filbert Street
hairy Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 Oh dear. So when a player screws up, and for the sake of example I will suggest the ball slips through Ricardo's legs and into the net, we get to watch it again and get to hurl abuse at him even more (for example) They have replays in the boxes and against Cov the above example did happen and everyone got to hate him that little bit more. Not good.
stripeyfox Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 The thing that really pisses me off about video screens is the constant crowd shots followed a second later by some nobhead recognising he's on the screen and pointing to his mates "look i'm on the screen"!

It is bloody awkward when you are on a big screen though, you never know what to do and just end up pointing to the screen and telling your mates you are on it and looking like a nobhead. Exactly what i did when i went to watch a game of Cricket last year.

cambridgefox Posted 25 March 2011 Posted 25 March 2011 The thing that really pisses me off about video screens is the constant crowd shots followed a second later by some nobhead recognising he's on the screen and pointing to his mates "look i'm on the screen"! I always like it when they see themselves on the screen, and look round like a tit for the camera thats filming them, and always failing to do so.Thus making stupid movements as if someone has stuck a c**k up their arse and never getting a full frontal pose! Knobs the lot of them. They panned in on the area where i stood at Derby before the game and i had a cold. What was i doing, coughing and blowing my nose.
millzi Posted 26 March 2011 Posted 26 March 2011 I find it disappointed though when they don't realise when they're on the screen/tele. I imagine this could cause quite a bit of embarrassment, like panning in on someone that's having a good old rummage around in their nose..
mickydeeeuk Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 My father in law went to the ground to day to view some new seats as we are moving position next season, I told him to ask about the screens and they said apparently they are going up on the section where the banners are around the top of the ground initially above the restaurant bit & directly opposite, they may even be up 'temporarily' in time for the boro game with a view to people being able to comment on the position/visibility of them & then fixed permanently next season. I honestly can't believe anyone could view this as anything but a good thing?
The Doctor Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 'temporarily' in time for the boro game with a view to people being able to comment on the position/visibility of them the boro' game is away.
mickydeeeuk Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 Thats what happens when you quote your father in law directly! Oof! ..... Perhaps they are going to broadcast it via satellite!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 The thing that really pisses me off about video screens is the constant crowd shots followed a second later by some nobhead recognising he's on the screen and pointing to his mates "look i'm on the screen"! i would more likely be the one seen picking my nose or scratching my arse etc etc
mickydeeeuk Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 I always think that's part of the fun! .... Probably be me aswell!
samjohnson Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 If they do crowd shots, we need a way of showing short phrases towards the club... "Supporters, not customers"... "Hi mum im on the tele" sort of thing
Wymsey Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 Probably won't work to its potential if we do have one, just like the shitty scoreboards.
callis Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 its flash but would rather have money for players etc
m00nie Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 its flash but would rather have money for players etc will soon pay for itself as no doubt they will run adds on it.. not like the owners are short of money either..
Guest parky0607 Posted 28 March 2011 Posted 28 March 2011 will soon pay for itself as no doubt they will run adds on it.. not like the owners are short of money either.. Also, the cost of these screens is probably only the cost of one / two weeks wages for yakubu
