Unknown Fox Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Either Westwood / Smithies (Huddersfield) as a new keeper. Either of the above. Naughton and Vitor either permanent but loan maybe only option especially for Vitor. Kebe I would like to see, also Ambrose, and/or Danns. Possibly Yak he obviously has the class for this league, but it comes down to every game not a few good perfomances followed by 4 of not even breaking into a jog never mind a sweat! I think Danny Graham would also be a great buy. The core of our team is very good, and with Sven at the helm, I dont think a lot will have to be done, the main issue is consistency, as for many a team in this division. A little more strength in depth and experience would benefit, and as already been said, evolution rather than revolution will be the best way out of this league!
leicester4life Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Also, I want a big bad hard bastard in midfield for when things get physical, industrious though Abe is, I don't think he's up to that particular task.
David Guiza Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 People always picks players that they've heard about and barely seen play Joe Lewis being a prime example, he's at fault for half the goals Peterborough concede. A keeper is a necessity, can't see Naughton staying so two full backs and a centre back. Keeping clean sheets is vital. QPR have shown that this season.
Wymsey Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Either Westwood / Smithies (Huddersfield) / Joe Lewis (Peterborough) as a new keeper. I would pick Westwood + Smithies over Lewis in terms of current form. Lewis is just a standard League One player imo.
Ashley Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 I'm suprised that people haven't mentioned Kasper Schmeichel. If they have I've missed them whilst reading teams Him or Westwood be decent for next season.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Defenders: Craig Dawson (West Bromich Albion), Roland Juhász (Anderlecht), Ahmed Fathy (Al-Ahly) Midfielders: Mohammed Aboutrika (Al-Ahly), Ivan Perišić (Club Brugge), Semir Štilić (Lech Poznan), Steffen Hofmann (Rapid Vienna) Attackers / Forwards: Garra Dembele (Levski Sofia), Yasser Al-Qahtani (Al-Hilal), Alexander Gerndt (Helsingborgs), Derek Riordan (Hibernian), Yoo Byung-Soo (Incheon United) Basically a team full of foreigners who are far too good for the leagues they're in.
harryboi72 Posted 5 April 2011 Posted 5 April 2011 Kieran Westwood Kyle Naughton Sol Bamba Wes Morgan or Ashley Williams Greg Cunningham Andy King Richie Wellens Patrick Viera or Seyi Olifinjana ( we might be able to get viera with svens links at man city) Diomansy Kamara Danny Graham Peter Whittingham
00rawat Posted 5 April 2011 Posted 5 April 2011 Westwood Kyle Naughton Bamba Mee/Tunchev Cunningham Kebe Gera/Kranjcar King Wellens Abe Maynard Kamara Subs Waghorn Dyer Vassell Hobbs Oakley Weale

harryboi72 Posted 5 April 2011 Posted 5 April 2011 Westwood Kyle Naughton Bamba Mee/Tunchev Cunningham Kebe Gera/Kranjcar King Wellens Abe Maynard Kamara Subs Waghorn Dyer Vassell Hobbs Oakley Weale Youve got 12 players in the first 11
millzi Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 I'm suprised that people haven't mentioned Kasper Schmeichel. If they have I've missed them whilst reading teams Him or Westwood be decent for next season. Would he really leave Leeds do you think? I highly doubt it personally. Westwood Kyle Naughton Bamba Mee/Tunchev Cunningham Kebe Gera/Kranjcar King Wellens Abe Maynard Kamara Subs Waghorn Dyer Vassell Hobbs Oakley Weale 4-5-2, I like that formation too. I think we'll definitely stand more of a chance of winning games.
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Just forget about the defence and field a 1-2-7 formation. Keeper Frank Sinclair Junior Lewis Lee Marshall Barry Hayles Ricky Sappleton Ade Akinbyi Iain Ormondroyd Mark De Vries Trevor Benjiman Nathan Blake Goals galore from that team.

Narborough_fox Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 well obviously seen as we would have an extra player GENIUS. I never realised that's why he said it and I always thought 1+4+5+2 equalled 11 but I obviously was wrong it actaully equals 12.

STEVIE B Posted 6 April 2011 Posted 6 April 2011 Does anyone recall how good Giles Barnes was for WBA against us in the league cup ? He ripped us apart & never gets a look in at Albion. Is he injured or something ? Only 23 too !!
accessory Posted 25 April 2011 Posted 25 April 2011 Simon Cox of WBA would be worth a shout - scored a quality goal at Spurs at the weekend...
