acooling08 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 A win at CP on Tues and we could be a win away! Just got back from the game.. amazing performance
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Much more like it. Kamara was a class above, 3 superb goals as well, PVA's is up there with the best goals I've ever seen down the Walkers. Oh and Brian Jensen is just fat.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 If Jeffrey Bruma gets picked after today I won't be happy.
MattyFromLE Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 If Jeffrey Bruma gets picked after today I won't be happy. I think he should just leave it as the starting 11 from today tbf
cairnsy Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Kamara was ****ing immense, a class above for me. Please Sven only 1 change on Tuesday Kyle for Vitor!
Libertine Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Wouldn't mind Oakley for Abe as Oakley has played the last 2 and 3 in such a short time could be too much. Naughton will probably come in too.
Salieri Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Fantastic performance and result. A win on Tuesday and things could be looking very interesting once again. I'd expect Naughton to return to defence against Palace, but at the expense of who? Would be a shame for Vitor to miss out again. But for God's sake, don't bring Bruma back in.
acooling08 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Kamara was ****ing immense, a class above for me. Please Sven only 1 change on Tuesday Kyle for Vitor! You obviosuly weren't at the game. Vitor was BRILLIANT. Vitor is better than Kyle defensively, especially in the air.
Bilbo Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Just got back and what a great result. We played really well today, Kamara and PVA in particular. Burnley were absolutely useless!
B52 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 I like to see the goals With Kamara on the field the oppo is lost again.... Vitor on RB is probably the sollution as Sven already spoken of Naughton as a winger.
Guest Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Some of the best football I've seen from us all season I reckon. Kamara was fantastic. The build up play to his goal was very impressive and PVA scored an absolute belter! Hopefully this will give us the confidence to get another run going and fingers crossed sneak into the playoffs
The Padster Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Great result today, puts us right up the arse of Forest and Milwall. Hopefully we can capatalise on this and give Palace a good thumping on Tues to keep us breathing down the necks of Leeds.
Webbo Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Well deserved, could have been 6 or 7. Kamara was superb. I liked the big screens as well. Don't want to get carried away, I'm sure Palace won't give us that much time and space on Tuesday.
Ozwin Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 One of the best Leicester performances I've seen in years. We made them look like a pub team at times. Kamara was quality, deserved the standing ovation when he went off. Chased everything, communicated with everyone, don't think he lost the ball once and was a general pain in the arse all game for Burnley. I love him already, he better have done that ear celebration he always does for Fulham. van Aanholt's goal can't wait to see that again. Oh yeah and Jensen has the worst kicking for a goalkeeper I have ever seen, and I've seen Paul Henderson.
Joe. Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Well that was bloody superb. Nice to see that's two points clawed back on the play-offs now, and play like that for the rest of the season and we'll still be in with a shout. Burnley were absolutely hopeless from start to finish, and we gave them exactly what they deserved in the end. Hats off to Kamara for an excellent home debut, but we were good in all departments in general today. Possibly Mee man of the match, but like I say, it could have easily fell to Wellens, Kamara or even Vitor, who did a solid job at right-back in Naughton's absence. It's still on chaps, but we need to keep this going.
wakeyfox01 Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Great performance. Everyone kept passing and moving and thye couldn't handle us, much more like it as there was always a passing option available whoever had the ball. Kamara gives us something different as he runs at and commits defenders and creates space, don't think thye ever managed to tackle him without fouling him. King was much more involved in the build up play and everyone ran at them. The problem before was we were just trying to force it and played in front of teams, but today we ran at them and made them come out and we just played it around them. Best performance of the season for me, never stopped and attacked to the end
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Fantastic result and performance. Vitor was brilliant, kamara was exceptional. As already said, our 1st and 4th were outstanding. And what about wellens' volley?!! Pleased for gally, another 2 goals to his name, you could see he was gutted not to get his third. We came out the blocks right from the off. A different team to the city at home of late. Weale made 2 great saves first half as well. Id say kamaras had the best home debut this season just pipping sol bamba's. Happy as owt tonight, off for a bbq then to 'adam smiths' leaving do before jetting off to sunny afghan- you may have heard the announcement on the tannoy before the game and at half time! I really dont know now whether we can make a top 6 finish, whereas before idve laughed at the thought
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Much needed boost I am genuinely struggling to think of a better, all-round City performance for many years! We completely ran that game.... Everyone played well, four goals scored and could have been more 100% effort (although the Yak still needs to run more don't he?) We reduced the Clarets to a couple of shots on target... To be honest, fookin brill performance today and Diomansy was different class
Leicester_Loyal Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Kamara is a class above. I don't even know where he played, could have been at CB for all I know, he was everyone, always running. Our front 3 of Kamara - Yakubu - Gallagher is amazing. Then you can sub on Vassell, Dyer or Waghorn and swap the wingers or various other things. Could really get some goals next season.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Derby next lestajigs Would also like to say, isnt it great when you can then bring on vassell and howard? How demoralising must that be for teams? Ok howards not as good as kamara, but he offers something totally different
