acooling08 Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Burnley's fans were horrifically bad as well. Worst I've seen at the Walkers. Agreed. They brought a lot of fans but were pretty much silent. One 'come on you Clarets' before a corner is all I remember from them.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Great performance, one of the best this season. Everyone played well, just need to keep it up really. Vitor played well so should retain his place but Sven's got a big call when Naughton returns as to who plays where. Gallagher was unlucky not to get a hattrick, so underrated. Kamara made a good debut too. Burnley fans were awful in the ground. Our atmosphere wern't bad yesterday.
MikeyT Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Fantastic result. Unfortunately didn't make it to the game but had it on the radio throughout. We sounded awesome. Just seen the goals and all were taken really well. Super finish especially from Van Aahnolt. Wellens very unlucky with his effort as well. Brilliant way to add to my Birthday yesterday. Bring on Tuesday night.
Wymsey Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Great day. Impressed with the whole team. Yakubu was the weak link really, just too slow. Much prefer Weale in goal and Bruma out. Vitor fully deserves a permanent team place.
davieG Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Great day. Impressed with the whole team. Yakubu was the weak link really, just too slow. Much prefer Weale in goal and Bruma out. Vitor fully deserves a permanent team place. For the last goal Yakubu had dragged 3 defenders out to him on the left leaving the way clear for King to set up Aanholt.
Brown Fox Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Bamba was back to normal yesterday at RCB after a few jittery performances. But special mention must go to Mee who was quality yesterday. Iwelumo usually dominated most centre backs and with Mee's height disadvantage Iwelumo tried to target Mee but instead Mee won every single battle. Quality player.
Joe. Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 For the last goal Yakubu had dragged 3 defenders out to him on the left leaving the way clear for King to set up Aanholt. Plus a big hand in the first goal to muscle off the Burnley defender for Kamara to score.
Corky Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 The Yak was fine, he linked up very well with Kamara.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 I've just remembered Aggers' half-time comment about his friend Alistair Campbell being in the "quiet section" of the stadium.
shen Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 I've just remembered Aggers' half-time comment about his friend Alistair Campbell being in the "quiet section" of the stadium. What was that about?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 What was that about? Basically what I said, though you might not know what I'm on about from Denmark, so here's the long version. Aggers (former England and Leicestershire circketer Jonathan Agnew, now BBC Cricket commentator, and apparently Leicester City fan) said that his friend Alistair Campbell (former advisor to Tony Blair and Burnley's most famous fan (yeah, I know - sad innit! ) was sat in the "quiet section", ie, with all the other Burnley fans who had little to cheer all day. There are probably few people in Britain who would be upset to see a miserable Alistair Campbell.

blueredswed Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Congartulation my CITY BLUE! I have been away on exhibition here in Sweden Friday-untill now and 4-0 I can only say trumpets blows! And about the YAK please not look at him as a slow and don´t working player! Open your eyes and see how many defenders attacing him and Gallagahar and the other boys makes goal! But as long as we win.... PL here we come

I think you will find that it is Charles Dagnal (Daggers) who also happens to be a Burnley fan (and was also an ex Leicestershire cricketer).

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Does know one know the rules? If Yakubu doesn't score, he's shite. If he does bag, he's Premier League quality. There's no middle ground. *Personally I'd love him to sign. Class act.
carterfox90 Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 a great day & performance when we needed it!!! my first time in L1 im usually in the kop but the atmosphere was far better & the poznan was great even for a nearly 50 year old !!! felt like the good days at filbert street!! :scarf:
foxaholic Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 You're such a ****ing idiot. We won 4-0, fvck the ref! No-one gives a shit. For once quit your fvcking moaning you miserable shit. Agreed I thought hewasasgooda ref aswe have had all season although 4-0 helpsmould your opinion
Thracian Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Agreed I thought hewasasgooda ref aswe have had all season although 4-0 helpsmould your opinion Well, that's what I thought too. He let the game flow whenever possible, made creditable decisions and remained in the background. I'd take more of the same anytime.
Danno Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Anyone else think Howard played really well for the time he was on for?
