'I thought they were quality today - supported their team throughout, gave good banter (which some of our fans couldn't take unfortunately but I thought it was very amusing), loud. Fair play to them.

And the continental style jumping up and down with arms around each other when they scored looked great too!

P.S. Shame about the drum though!'

'Agreed! Fantastic support, wish the Turf was more like that these days. The only down point was the drum and I don't like 'the poznan' but that's just my opinion.'

'I thought it was quite funny when they sang "Gone to the National, you should have gone to the national"

One geezer behind us said "We've come to watch the donkeys here instead"

For a so called soul-less stadium, I reckon there was more atmosphere in the hour and a half today than there has been at the Turf all season'

I can't really comment on today but I can only guess that they have a shite atmosphere and we must have been better than usual, but that would make sense since today was supposedly a very good performance.

Still, nice to see some praise.

Then don't?

I thought it was a good one today. Blue army!

I thought the atmosphere was better today as home games can be poor, but was more like away game atmosphere today, which was also helped by a superb performance from city........

Kamara - SIGN HIM UP !!!!!!!! :scarf::scarf::chant::scarf::scarf:

Still winning by 4 can help improve an atmosphere.

It was the video screens that made the difference. FACT

Interesting observation and did you notice PVA watch the play back of his goal. It could be that as paople watch the goals the celebration goes on longer. Certainly best atmosphere at City match since the Leeds victory in injury time. Kamara was amazing....

I thought the atmosphere was decent - nothing more, nothing less.

But the vibe overall was rather positive.

I've witnessed worse during some of the recent games, for instance when we were losing against Portsmouth or Norwich; the eerie silence reflected the poor performance on the pitch.

Not so today - the weather and the result certainly helped to lift the spirits.

Good to hear other sectors apart from L1/K1 making some noise, too.

The Kop surprised me a few times with their own chants (even though I could barely make out what it was they were singing).

For most part of the game, both sets of fans were rather quiet, with us having the edge in noise factor when we could be arsed.

After the first goal went in, the Burnley lot remained silent for the rest of the match.

There was a better feeling around the ground yesterday, I'm sure the positive start had a large bearing on it.

Is it too much to ask for SK2 to do the poznan, i turned around to do it and everyone was facing the pitch still. Even the family end has taken it on board.

I think even the people that hate, are gonna have to realise that its caught on pretty quick. It does look awesome when a good number of people are doing it. Stringer said on RL commentary that there was a good 1000/2000 doing it yesterday?

because, in my opinion, it is cringeworthy doing it after every goal.

It's the singing that goes with the grecque that makes it absolutely cringeworthy at our place, am I right in thinking they sing "Let's all do the Poznan"?

What are you on about?

We don't sing 'Lets all do the Poznan' We do the usual goal celebration (the old bounce) but with the poznan.

And, your lot were the ones who wanted to instigate the poznan at the walkers. Double standards?

I think it was just generally more relaxed atmosphere, instead of the nailbiting close games of late. And being 4-0 up with about 20 minutes left will obviously increase the atmosphere.

At Cardiff away, people were singing "let's all do the Poznan". We wanted to bring a grecque to Filbert Way as a way to the show the team that no matter what happens on the pitch they have our support, not as a goal celebration that admittedly is aesthetically brilliant but the way in which it came about is absolutely terrible.

No, you're not right in thinking that.
