Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 From TV amd slightly wasted Weale - NO Naughton - 6 - Did well without providing much attacking threat Bruma - 5 - Not bruilliant but not as bad as made out by some Vitor- 7 - Our best player alongside Oakley Mee - Did nothing wrong, did nothing stand-out Wellens - 4 - Playing? King - 3 - Linked with Premier League but so not ready it's unreal, Poor passing, no tenacity, overall, quite weak. Oakley - 7 - I've slated him, but today, he played well. Much better than the two beside him who are heaped with praise week in week out, Yakbubu - 4 - Stay on if you arent on unreasonable wages, if you still want the same amount you are at Everton, you can do one. Kamara - 4 - Inneffectual Gallagher - 4 - Didnt notice him Summary: Piss off Weale, thats it for you . im wasted and unreasonable, but you can **** right off for that mistake, all the best.
ajthefox Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale - 1 - Shakey all game, one absolute howler and poor keeping for their second as well. I'm a fan of Weale and have been supportive of him but today was too far, he cost us two goals and it's simply not good enough. Mee - 7 - Pretty Solid Bruma - 6 - a little edgy at times but made out to be completely incompetent by some wearing glasses with very strong tints. Vitor - 8 - Very assured, best player I think. Naughton - 7.5 - Played well as per. Without doubt the best signing of the season Oakley - 6 - Took his goal quite well, generally quite average though Wellens - 6 - Nothing particularly wrong but not his best King - 5 - Performance was lacking. Gallagher - 6 - Average. Little real quality but not bad as such. Yakubu - 1 - Dog shite. Work rate was poor, couldn't hold the ball up for shit and was tottaly ineffectual Kamara - 6 - Would get higher marks but the fact that we weren't great going forward limits him. I hadn't seen Kamara play before today but I must say it is quite obvious he is a class above. His touch, his passing, his movement, just his game in general is so much sharper. As I stated he was limited today by our inadequacies as a team but from what I saw he really did look like someone out of a different team. I'd rather have him back over Yakubu next season. Abe - 6 - Decent enough. Nothing much worth noting defensively or for the attack Vassell - 6 - Scored and was quite industrious. As was with Kamara, I think he was limited by the team performance and I think better service and he would've been a real threat. Howard - N/A -
sdb Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale - 3 KN - 7 Vitor - 7 Bruma - 5 Mee - 7 Wellens - 7 Oakley - 7 King - 5 Gallagher - 5 Yak - 4 Kamara - 5 Vassell - 7 Abe - 6
sdb Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Can we not go OTT with Weale? Yes he cost us the game and yes, hopefully he's back up next season. But lets not make him a hate figure ffs. Sorry to break it to you lot but we we're never gonna go up whatever the result today. Over the last 2 months a number of players have been poor, so lets not make 1 man take all the flack.

sdb Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Bye bye Chris. He f*&ked up. Time to move on. We'll get a new keeper in the summer. No point sitting at a computer calling him names, that makes no one look good.
lcfc_jme Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale - Go away you useless cvnt Naughton - 7 Vitor - 8 Bruma - 6 Mee - 6 Oakley - 6 Wellens - 4 King - 3 Gallagher - 4 Yakubu - 2 Kamara - 2 Subs: UKIP - 5 Darius - 5 (only because he bagged, if not he'd be at a 3) Howard - 3
jdean Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 leicester were awful yesterday, no one played well we have to many players who are technically good i.e king and gallagher but no one who actually battles for the ball, look at qpr they have 1 quality player and the rest are all people who will battle for the ball, sven needs to realise this is the championship not premier league, players need to be physical in this division. please get rid of all the loan players as they dont care about the club and none of them will be here next season. atleast we will save over 100k a week from sending these players back, and instead let our players we have sent on loan have a couple of matches like the lad at brentford J, shclupp and play our young cb T. Parkes, no harm in giving them a chance. king needs to learn how to play in a 2 man midfield, and we need 2 wingers, play waghorn and howard for the last 3 games it worked last year and can do again.
Babylon Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 He f*&ked up. Time to move on. We'll get a new keeper in the summer. No point sitting at a computer calling him names, that makes no one look good. Problem is some people don't give others the same courtesy. .................. Now I was fairly steaming, so I'm not gonna trust my own judgement too much today. But how on earth are some people giving Bruma such low marks? I barely noticed him and he didn't seem to do a huge amount wrong.
sphericalfox Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Problem is some people don't give others the same courtesy. .................. Now I was fairly steaming, so I'm not gonna trust my own judgement too much today. But how on earth are some people giving Bruma such low marks? I barely noticed him and he didn't seem to do a huge amount wrong. I think Bruma didn't have a terrible game and certainly not the marks he's receiving. When it came to corners he was about the only one making himself a nuisance and though his headed attempts on goal were not on target, he was definitely making space and trying. He's still getting a backlash from mistakes he has made. I think there seems to be a conclusive review of Weale's performance today. A stark contrast compared to his Premiership performance against a League One aiming Sheffield United. It's a shame Yakubu only started to play after we were a goal down. His reaction to fat bastard taunts was amusing, but I think we can assume one thing for certain, his return to the club and the end of the season will be cast in doubt. I would ike to comment on the few comments about absenteeism during the game. King was not absent. He just didn't have the opportunity and space to make his runs. It could be argued that Gallagher had a worse game. I am genuinely grasping to remember a cross that I thought we would truly be able to make something of. We weren't by any means over run, and at stages completely bossed the Nothinghams. This game is is just another microcosm of our season. At times superb passing, and movement outwitting our opponents. Then utter lack of communication, and individual errors destoying all the hard work and leaving us with a mountain to climb with no options to change the game, as we are restricted by the capabilities of those on the bench and those on the field.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale - 1 - Mistake too far today. Naughton - 8 - Soaked up everything thrown at him. Vitor - 8.5 - As above but an extra half point added for putting a player on his arse with a bit of skill. Bruma - 7 - Nowhere near as bad as suggested by some. Clearly more comfortable with Vitor as a partner than Bamba. Mee - 7 - Did what he had to reasonably well. Oakley - 6.5 - Goal against Palace seems to have given him extra confidence. Was actually disappointed to see him go. Wellens - 5.5 - Kicked all over the park by McKenna but never let his head drop. Frustrating afternoon nevertheless. King - 4.5 - Chased and harried but never anywhere near his best. Gallagher - 4 - Anonymous for the most part. Dyer would have been a better pick with their vulnerability to pace. Yakubu - 3 - In Morgan's pocket for the most part. Lumbering. Kamara - 4.5 - Showed some decent touches to suggest he could do well for us, but never really looked like scoring. Subs: Abe - 5.5 - Scarcely in the game but his position is not one that generally goes noticed until it goes tits up. Darius - 7 - Pace and running frightened Forest to death. Should have started ahead of Yakubu. Howard - 3 - Ineffective.

Sorry to break it to you lot but we we're never gonna go up whatever the result today. Over the last 2 months a number of players have been poor, so lets not make 1 man take all the flack. Ricardo made just the same errors and is pratically a hate figure. Before the game yesterday, there were these lads shouting 'Ricardo you are sh*t'. If it was the other way around, people would be calling for Ricardo to be sacked or whatever and be singning for Weale. People went over the top with Ricardo, so Weale should get some in return just like Ricardo did/has been.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Thought we played okay apart from Weale, Yakubu, King and Gallagher. They were piss poor. Forest were handed the 3 points.
lukielcfc Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale 3 at fault for two of the goals ( new keeper in the summer please Sven) Mee 5 more comfortable at CB Bruma 4 not good enough Vitor 7.5 best player on the pitch got brume out of trouble on a number of occasions Naughton 6 not his best game tried to get forward Wellens 6 worked hard great battle with McKenna Oakley 6 gr8 strike! King 4 didn't get into the game too quiet! Kamara 5 great touches at times. No end product Yak 3 lazy!!! How much is a taxi to liverpool???? Gally 5 worked hard not his best game Subs Vassell 7 changed the game worked hard gave Morgan n chambers a hard time scored a goal Howard n/a Abe n/a

Fox92 Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Wrong. What is this referring to exactly? What is wrong?
SMX11 Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale: 1- Never came for corners, distribution poor, should have done better with the second and a shocker for the third. I bet Stringer and Young didn't critisize him either, hypocrites. Naughton: 7- Pretty good game Vitor: 6.5- See Naughton, half a mark taken off for slightly loose defending on the first goal but it was a great cross. Bruma: 4- Sven dropped a bollock with this chap. Mee: 5- Not a full back, but didn't really do a lot wrong defensively. Oakley: 7.5- Broke up the play well and great strike for goal. Wellens: 7- Dogged performance. King: 4- Andy 'Anonomous' King. Yakubu: 3- Complete waste of money. Kamara: 6- Never really got going but looked threatening at times. Gallagher: 5.5- Jekll and Hyde from him, terrible corners and some good link up play. Abe: 5.5- Meh Vassell: 7- Why isn't he starting down the middle, far more threatening than Yakubu and actually looks as if he gives a shit. Howard: 5- Contributed nothing but you can't expect much in the limited time he had.
Jimmy Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 What is this referring to exactly? What is wrong? Ricardo hasn't made the same errors as Weale in fact he made very few errors, only Brits seem to think punching instead of catching the ball is a mistake, every other nation on the planet teaches that punching is the safer method

Fox92 Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Ricardo hasn't made the same errors as Weale in fact he made very few errors, only Brits seem to think punching instead of catching the ball is a mistake, every other nation on the planet teaches that punching is the safer method I know. If you read it proporly I was stating that Ricardo has made errors but gets critized where as Weale doesn't. I prefer Ricardo over Weale. I don't see punching as a mistake at all. I think you read it wrong and the first part of my post was taken out of context. If you look at the post I was replying to, you'll see I was trying to stick up for Ricardo, hence why I put 'Ricardo has made the same errors and is pratically a hate figure'.
Fox96 Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Weale - 0.95 Naughton - 6 Vitor - 6 Bruma - 4 Mee - 6 Wellens - 7 King - 3 Oakley - 7 Kamara - 5 Yak - 5 Gallagher - 4

Swampdog Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 King: 3 ineffective, scared to challenge for the ball I would actually be quite happy to see King sold.. dont know what anyone else thinks but hes been missing in games for half of the season and sure he pops up with goals from time to time (albeit not too recently.. 1 in 11 is it?).. but i think we could get an inflated price for him at the moment and could go towards reinforcing the midfield in the summer.. Problem with King is that he can finish exellently but as a midfielder he needs to do a lot more then that and he just cant.. his work off the ball is non-existant.. in my opinion hes a weak link in our middle 3.
