This is abit worrying IMO because if sven fails to get it rite this season and is sacked / doesnt sign a new contract we will be left with a squad that doesnt want to play for Leicester. According to the Mercury his agent doesnt think that we will open contract negotiations for a few more days (if we get that far). Would love to see him in goal on August 6th in a Leicester shirt Haven't people learnt their lesson over twitter after the Davies debacle?

You can only sign if you love Leicester City ....... supported us as a child and listened to the commentary on our evening games with your radio under the blankets in bed. If you're just coming here for Sven or, god forbid, the chance of success or the pay then you can **** off apparently. I'd love all of them to bleed blue when you cut them but the reality is that it's a job and they do it for the pay. When it comes to signing an extension then it may well be that they 'love the club' as they've been here for some time. BUT please don't start slating players just because they don't sign the minute Leicester City FC show an interest. If these players are any good then there are bigger clubs than us who may be showing an interest and who may offer a higher salary. It is Sven and the salaries we pay that tempt players here NOT the chance of playing for Leicester City. There is a real world outside, some people should try joining it.

Nobody's said he's going to come in and eventually make it as one of the best keepers in the world, most think that it's a good signing as it's better than what we've got and there's not many better options out there. Give it a rest. Because I fail to understand any other reason for being happy at his signing than his name. I mean, apart from in the lower leagues he hasn't exactly pulled up any trees.

Chazwaz Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 I'm not bothered by his name but a few of my friends who I have spoken to in the past (Leeds fans), always told me of how highly they rate him despite his surname, they always tell me they have the worst defence in the championship and the reason they concede so much is the mistakes made by the defence and has nothing to do with Kasper not being up to the job.

I don't think we could get better for 1m. Westwood was a possibility but he's heading for the prem by the looks of things. We could go for a foreign option but there'll be plenty of simpletons who wouldn't be happy with that either.

How VERY dare they use their experience, judgement, and scouts to attempt to sign players. The bloody cheek of it! Who do they think they are?!

He did ok for a few months then got dropped to the bench.
