Brown Fox Posted 27 May 2011 Posted 27 May 2011 The most realistic shout in here is Abdoulaye Meite. Very good player, was an absolute brick wall last year and would love him here. Also there's a slight chance of Bowyer more than the others anyway and I'd take him as well.

Are you having a laugh? He's old and hopeless. Punches absolutely everything, kept out of the 1st team by an error prone hennessey. Craddock too old and not as good as Hobbs. Jones not as good as current midfielders at city (excluding Oakley obviously).

Go fetch Svennis. They have released barnes, cech and zuiverloon aswell, i wouldnt mind barnes looked decent when we played them in the cup.

Was at the Liverpool game against Birmingham the other week, Brum were truly awful but Bowyer was their stand out player. Never liked the bloke mainly due to the fact the only time he seems to get mentioned is when he spits hid dummy out, that was the first time I'd ever seen him play. I think he could do a job for us a real terrier like Spearing is. Straight after the final whistle he went straight over to the young kid John Flanaghan who was outstanding, and had a chat with him, really stood out for me that did, really nice touch from the older pro. These litte things like this never get shown on match of the day or in the press but to me shows a different side to the bloke.
