wattolcfc Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 For me the 4-3-3 formation Sven plays didn't work on Saturday for 3 main reasons... 1) We don't have fast overlapping full backs who push up and in turn push the 2 wingers/strikers up. 2) We didn't play an attacking midfielder to support the striker which left him without a chance. 3) We played 2 defensive midfielders who are happy to sit and again not push forward.. Anyone agree?

It's so much more entertaining to poke fun at Neil Danns' attempts at making music than sticking to what the Phone-In is all about. And then to wait until the end just to cut off the most interesting questions of them all... Stringer and Ballard are like two feisty boys enjoying their little verbal pranks.

My point may have been too controversial as follows: With the exception of Kasper Schmeichel, Sol Bamba, Gelson Fernandes and Jeff Schlupp, it was a case of ‘long time, no C’ for the Foxes where ‘c’stands for control, coordination, cohesion, creativity, confidence, commitment, class and collective responsibility. After all the hype, build-up and pre-season promise of fireworksto come, what we witnessed on Saturday was the equivalent of a damp squib. Hopefully, the embarrassment of not just the defeat but themanner of it, will, on Wednesday, make those entrusted with putting mattersright, produce a performance that is in keeping with their perceived skill. Whoever starts or is on the bench, whatever formation Sven decidesto play, each player should be fully aware that no-one has a divine right to beteam and that they wear the shirt with pride and that Leicester fans expect- and deserve - total commitment.
