The present unrest is at least in part an inevitable backlash against those individuals. For what it's worth, I don't think he should be sacked either and should be given more time to produce results with a side that is recognisably his. But it's a source of concern that neither he nor the owners are familiar with this league and therefore appreciate the requirements to escape it. Maybe they're not as far advanced in the learning curve as they should be. As for Martin Allen, it didn't take long to spot that he was way out of his depth during his time with us. But that probably says more about the chairman who appointed him - whom I'm told was another "messiah" prematurely anointed by this forum. Yeah 'before the season started' mild concerns shot down in flames? The concerns being aired were not mild and based on daft facts from what I saw, daily and in every thread. This wasn't niggling doubt this was a witch hunt for a manager sentenced to the gallows not having had a pre-season or any of his own players. "Okay we'll give him till Christmas was the reply"... finally. Three games in and they call for his head. Come on, these people don't know football, they can't, surely? This defence of "it's my opinion" - Why is it, surely your not going to predict the fortunes of a season on the teams first three competitive performances playing together? But these people are out there. They have internet connections and are allowed to post and contribute when in actual fact they should be out with Karl Pilkington wandering round parks watching insects to gain more life experience. As for Milan - come on . We knew exactly what we were getting. He may have been anointed messiah for a month or two yeah - because he came in and at least stabilised a club in financial trouble with no obvious solution to their problems. He was and remains a mercenary business man. People always want to be optimistic about the club they support when somebody new comes in (Most people, anyway.) People also want to hear different view points providing they are well constructed and not baseless hate and stone throwing because their world of instant gratification has collapsed.

Nice chap he speaks a lot of sense and can be often seen on his mobile phone at the back of the holiday inn, he seems to be very analtical in how he sees things but fair play top man! He said that we used to leave one up last season (I can't remember when like) but we conceded a goal because a player wasn't on the post. He then said, if the player was not forward, we wouldn't have conceded because that man would have been on the post - or something like that. But I don't feel this would happen every time we concede a corner. If the club go by this theory then, will we never leave a man up? But, if we did leave a player up, ie Beckford, then the opposition would have to leave 2 or 3 men back to even it out and stop the break threat meaning that less men are forward to try and score against us. I just feel that we should leave one or two men forward, two fast players, so that we can break. Instead, like we constantly see, we just end up giving the ball back...
