EnderbyFox Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 Where's Faruuq(?) these days, i miss him
sphericalfox Posted 12 September 2011 Author Posted 12 September 2011 Why is Claridge getting the opportunity to air his shite on the radio?
Guest MattP Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 Why is Claridge getting the opportunity to air his shite on the radio? He's an ex-player who works as a specialist pundit for this division. Who better would you ask? He didn't say anything that bad and asked a few questions I'd like to see Stringer ask Sven.
EnderbyFox Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 "Waggy should play up front with Bedford"
themotivator Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 sooper stevie claridge. you are a shite manager. you dont actually know what is going on at this club. have you been living off the 45secs of highlights on the FLS to make these judgements. pointless. please stop putting him on the radio/tv. i used to love this bloke and his shin. now he just talks bob all day long.
Guest MattP Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 "Waggy should play up front with Bedford" Best e-mail of the night This is the biggest moron I've heard all year, "MON is a quitter who only won one thing here, we dont want him back" Absolute twat.

Someone with a credible view of what is exactly going on at our club, and actually watches the games and make viewpoints valid with reasonable logical. Not ' he's flitted from club to club...' bullshit. He's made his mind up before we even started and he's 'sticking to it'. Sounds like an imbecile to me.
KFS Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 "The Hernandez that played against Coventry"- Alan Young. Am I missing something?
MC Prussian Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 Mocking fans for not knowing players' names? And then Young calls Fernandes "Hernandez". Right. And forgetting about his great game against Forest. Give credit where credit is due.

When your Swedish pin-up boy has achieved as much for our club as Claridge has, then maybe he and his acolytes will be taken seriously.

There's comparing apples to prunes and then there's comparing players-turned-great-managers to good-players-turned-sour-TV-pundits.

sphericalfox Posted 12 September 2011 Author Posted 12 September 2011 When your Swedish pin-up boy has achieved as much for our club as Claridge has, then maybe he and his acolytes will be taken seriously. I know precisely what Claridge has done for our club, and this has absolutely nothing to do with his moronic viewpoint based on assumption and a 'sticking to it' opinion. Sounds like a few posters on here. Same baseless drivel.

How is that "baseless drivel" - Sven has won 6 out of his last 20 games, why would Claridge change his opinion on that?

Webbo Posted 12 September 2011 Posted 12 September 2011 When your Swedish pin-up boy has achieved as much for our club as Claridge has, then maybe he and his acolytes will be taken seriously. Did you use to have an account under a different name? You remind me of somebody.
sphericalfox Posted 12 September 2011 Author Posted 12 September 2011 He said he didnt think Sven is right for the job and he is sticking to that. Is he not entitled to that opinion? How is that "baseless drivel" - Sven has won 6 out of his last 20 games, why would Claridge change his opinion on that? He's basing his opinion on what facts? He made his mind up that Sven would be a failure at our club using which facts before he even started? He has on numerous occasions belittled the fact that we have money and that we're trying to 'buy the league'. Does he have some inside info that we all don't know about? He has made assessments of our performances on the Football League show, but only at the start of the show indicated that he hadn't even seen the match. He was basing it on the clips they showed. How is this punditry even remotely professional lest respectful. Has he earned a reason to spend his time being negative against our club, does that shinned goal equal an untouchable opinion? Does it bollox! Having him on the RL moan-in is just about right. At least the callers were prominently positive, perhaps his inclusion was to 'even things out'.
