By the way, anyone still wanting to get tickets, if you know someone or are family of someone in the Grass Roots scheme you can get tickets. I got 4 tickets on Monday for myself and 3 kids.

Did you pay grass route prices or was they same as advertiser?

There will not be segregation for this game

Lucky there aren't many Madrid supporters coming. :D

Sven is turning up the heat making Ball captain and will lead the Foxes against Ronaldos Madrid. :P

I think that's just the site being rubbish. You might be better ringing up (or not, as that's got its own issues...).

Sadly it was full ticket prices but I'm still excited about the match. I know some see it as a rip off but I doubt I'd ever get to see a match like this again this season.

Try using a different browser. I had this problem when using google chrome but it worked fine on internet explorer...

No. This happened to me for an hour and a half on Saturday. Yet about this time yesterday it was fine. Its obviously just busy periods. Try late tonight.

Interest in Leicester City's showpiece friendly with Real Madrid is going through the roof.

More than 7,000 tickets have been sold since they went on general sale at the weekend, taking the figure to around the 25,000 mark.

City's squad pit their skills against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo

Chris Tinbergen, the head of consumer sales at City, is again urging fans to secure their tickets now for the July 30 match to avoid disappointment.

The King Power Stadium holds just under 32,000 and Tinbergen said: "It went mad over the past three days. It is certainly a game which is capturing the imagination.

"There has been interest from across the country, but the vast majority of fans who are buying tickets are City fans who want to see the great Real Madrid take to the pitch against their team.

"I think the interest will continue over the next couple of days, so I can only advise supporters to get their tickets now to avoid disappointment.

"We have also sold a lot of tickets online since installing an improved system which is a lot easier for supporters to navigate. There has been a lot of interest in buying tickets this way."

Chief executive Susan Whelan has also promised a "carnival" atmosphere at the match, which will see City's squad pit their skills against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka.

Although a few City fans have followed the squad to Sweden, the clash with Real will offer the opportunity for the majority of supporters to take their first look at the club's new signings.

I think it is completely unfair that ST holders get any sort of priority on tickets. I dont have a ST but i still went to 18 home games last season. Just because i couldnt commit to a ST because of work, it doesnt make me any less of a fan. Why should I potentially miss out on getting a ticket. Stupid rule.

Agreed.

Looks like we may not see Granero at the King Power stadium in a few weeks.

SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey

Real Madrid look happy to let Granero move. Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs reported to be monitoring him.

As i've said before, it is far too risky for me to buy a season ticket because as I am contracted to work Saturdays, there is no way of me knowing whether I can go to a match until a few weeks before. Dont wanna spend £300+ on a ST and then only be able to go to 10 games. Last season I was lucky.

With luck and a strong tail-wind, we'll be in the PL next year and then we'll never play on a Saturday ever again !!!! That should help you.
