sdb Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Guarantee we'll lose and people on here will moan all night about it. 'Bamba really failed to keep Ronaldo quiet and I for one pray he's benched for next weeks game at The Ricoh', etc.
ozleicester Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 Is it just me... that thinks we can win Lets face it... if we win, everyone says its just a friendly and they werent really trying... if we lose, then we are crap. Who organised this PR disaster? TOP OUT!
samjohnson Posted 17 July 2011 Posted 17 July 2011 RM just beat LA Galaxy 4-2... super goal by Ronaldo. (WARNING - WILD OPINION ALERT) With LA-G's best players being David Beckham and Landon Donovan, the first being an over-aged advert actor and the latter being America's only decent on-field player... I dont think it took much effort

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 that ebay seller's having a laugh , surely illegal too...£1000...anyone would think it's the CL final....!!!!!! Selling them for 50p would be illegal. You can't re-sell football tickets. Although some official re-sale outlets appear to be allowed to now.
MORGAN Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I think I might have one for sale. Bought 4 but only 3 of us are going.
The People's Hero Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 just went on to check the status of my membership and had a browse at the ticket section, seems to br no link to madrid game on there for me now. Must have sold out online allocation. We're not playing Real Madrid mate. We narrowly missed out on Europe last year, the anglo-italian cup no longer exists (and Real are Spanish apparently? ), we are in the Championship and the are in La Liga. You must be thinking of Coventry.
Ashley Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I'm sitting in the away end for this game, decided not to take up my normal seat however I'm right on the barrier of where the away end finishes(I think)
MikeyT Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Tickets-sold-Leicester-City-v-Real-Madrid/story-12970456-detail/story.html Leicester City's mouth-watering friendly with Real Madrid at the end of the month is now a sell-out in all public areas of the King Power Stadium. There are just a limited number of VIP hospitality packages available. Chris Tinbergen, head of consumer sales, said: "It's one of those fixtures which City fans across the county and beyond have really taken to their heart. "Bringing Real Madrid to Leicester is a fantastic way to start the campaign." Around 15,000 tickets were initially snapped up by season-ticket holders before a further rush of interest when they went on general sale. "The nature of the match also allowed us to free up additional seats in parts of the ground where they are not normally available," added Tinbergen. "It would be great if, as a result of the game, we can attract new supporters to watch us on a regular basis." Sven-Goran Eriksson's side take on Jose Mourinho's charges a week on Saturday, July 30. It will be an opportunity for City fans to have a good look at the club's seven new signings. And, with Eriksson still looking to strengthen his squad, there could be other new faces to run the rule over. The Madrid squad will feature the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka.
