I here you have to be a member/seasin ticket holder to buy the tickets for the game. What exactly do i need to do to get the membership and hence tickets exactly....and before i am called a plastic fan, i have been to many games last season and only am going because my mates wanna go badly! Please someone give me the details of the process please

Madrid_Fox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Not to sure if this game will beat the 32,488 record set by the Tigers. They only fell short by 12 tickets from an "absolute" sell out. When do they go on general sale again? sorry for being uninformed.

If you had never been to a game in your life, it shouldn`t matter, your still entitled to go down the city. The more the merrier i say!

If you had never been to a game in your life, it shouldn`t matter, your still entitled to go down the city. The more the merrier i say! Thanks i wish everyone thought like you. The way i see it, is that football is all about entertainment, the more entertaining a side is....eg the players it has, the more people will watch it. Personally i find the championship as exciting as this game, but for others i can understand why they would choose to come to this game, over doncaster at home. Football is just entertainment, the bigger the game, the bigger the crowd..its not about loyalty...etc, its simply entertainment.

Me, well i just couldn`t not go down, it`s in my blood, i`d be lost without the city. I hate summers and no football. Don`t matter how bad we are, and i`ve seen some pretty poor city teams over the years, i will always go down, but if people want to pick and choose their games, and just see it as a form of entertainment, thats fine with me. Each to their own, and as i say the more the merrier.
Howard9 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 sorry to ask but im really confused, when do the tickets go on general sale and at what time ?

Howard9 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 They go on general sale on 9th july at 9am. Cheers pal, but why did the OS say that general sale is on the 16th ? then change ?

m00nie Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Cheers pal, but why did the OS say that general sale is on the 16th ? then change ? seems there not selliing as many as they thought so need to open it up earlier to general..
thybluefox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Urgh Seconded. With any luck though we can turn some fake fans into real ones.
Dan Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 I think it is completely unfair that ST holders get any sort of priority on tickets. I dont have a ST but i still went to 18 home games last season. Just because i couldnt commit to a ST because of work, it doesnt make me any less of a fan. Why should I potentially miss out on getting a ticket. Stupid rule. Without sounding too harsh, I think more fool you for not buying a season ticket - if you've actually managed to get to 18 of the 23 games. Based on the fact you went to 18, it could even be you can't make Tuesdays, but that'd be even more stupid to have not got one. I don't think it's an unfair rule personally, can see what you mean but ultimately they're giving priority to people who've gone for the season, you have, yet never actually bought the package, which in hindsight, you really should've.
shailen Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 Ive been today and there are still tickets available, and i reckon there are loads left. For those wanting to buy them today you need to become members, and then you can have 2 max per member. Otherwise you can wait till july 9th, for tickets for general sale

ozleicester Posted 4 July 2011 Posted 4 July 2011 See this topic There will not be segregation for this game

As i've said before, it is far too risky for me to buy a season ticket because as I am contracted to work Saturdays, there is no way of me knowing whether I can go to a match until a few weeks before. Dont wanna spend £300+ on a ST and then only be able to go to 10 games. Last season I was lucky.
manfromuncles Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 By the way, anyone still wanting to get tickets, if you know someone or are family of someone in the Grass Roots scheme you can get tickets. I got 4 tickets on Monday for myself and 3 kids.
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Thai Ad Not sure what to say .... Wasnt sure whether I was watching a TV advert for a football match or a trailor for fifa 12. Gotta love the Thai people
