Didi Hamann - has he gone ?

Hamann's not down on the Coaching Staff Profiles on the OS. I don't know whether he's never been listed - or was and been taken off because he's now left the club (there were rumours that he was going to Swindon as Di Canio's Assistant). Does anyone know if he is still with us ?

Yet to be convinced by him anyway. Form seriously dipped once he came in and whilst it's almost completely coincidence, it's not great either and i've not really heard the same sort of glowing reviews that others have got (namely the man he replaced)

Totally agree with that.

Started to work out the difference in results after his arrival + lost interest, wasn't too horrific but he hardlly lifted us as his pedigree would suggest

I guess it takes more than 3 months to fit in a coaching role.

I highly doubt it was Hamann that said we should break up the successful Wellens/King/Abe combination and keep fucking about with the back four.

Dietmar Hamann is in line to become the new manager of relegated Stockport County as businessman Anthony Evans prepares to take over the Blue Square Bet Premier club.

When he goes (which I guess will be in a week or so), Sven will have to get in a replacement Coach pretty sharpish for the start of the new season (and pre-season training / friendlies). He might even have someone lined up to start before Hamann goes back to Manchester-port.
