Jon the Hat Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Is ti me or are we doing a **** load better in the transfer market than QPR? Boutique club my arse!
STUHILL Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Mee, Masilela and Maynard to come and I think we're pretty much sorted. I would take that and then some loan deals to add strength in depth.
MikeyT Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 The missus is in for some gud lovin now Normally crap then?
thybluefox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Flapping fantastic. I'm off to wind up some Wolves fans on twitter.
Woollett's Wellies Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Maybe one winger as well, but that's being greedy. New reports that Forest are interested in Routledge. More importantly they all say we have an interest. I wonder if that's still going anywhere\/
SMX11 Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Great news, now onto the greater task of removing the deadwood.
Stevosevic Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 New reports that Forest are interested in Routledge. More importantly they all say we have an interest. I wonder if that's still going anywhere\/ Bert said Routledge is a no go, so unless things have changed it's probably a no go.
Woollett's Wellies Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Is ti me or are we doing a **** load better in the transfer market than QPR? Boutique club my arse! No. I think you're spot on. They seem more excited about the money they'll get from selling Taarabt than how much they'll spend on new players to stay in the Prem!
HoustonFox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Man, I am pretty excited by this signing. Saw Mills a few times last season and he was super impressive. Anyone think he might be in for a shout as new captain?
Woollett's Wellies Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Bert said Routledge is a no go, so unless things have changed it's probably a no go. Thanks for that. Shame. I think he would have done a job for us, but onward and upward.
STUHILL Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Man, I am pretty excited by this signing. Saw Mills a few times last season and he was super impressive. Anyone think he might be in for a shout as new captain? yes! Not sure if Sven could make him captain straight away but definitely in the future.

I wonder if that's still going anywhere\/ I don't see the point of trying to sign someone that has failed to establish himself in the prem with many clubs.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 I don't see the point of trying to sign someone that has failed to establish himself in the prem with many clubs. Because we need to get promoted to the Prem first.
kingfox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 I personally think we need a winger. Dyer going, Vassell has done ok with Leicester but bench player at most nowadays, while Schlupp is completely unknown on how he will perform if given the chance. We obvisouly want a winger or we wouldn't have put in a bid for Pilkington and after Routledge. Mills captain wise no way, keep it with King or give it Wellens preffably Wellens. Bamba and Mills I think would be better than St Ledger and Mills, but who knows it could turn out to be Mills with Mee

King isn't vocal enough to be a real leader and Wellens moans too much. Mills looks a born leader whenever Ive seen him play!! Bamba wont be starting now.
artursteppe Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 yes! Not sure if Sven could make him captain straight away but definitely in the future. Yes. Make him captain now I think. Matt Oakley won,t be in first team enough and Andy King is a nice guy who will not mind us having a real captain, besides King will also be spending a lot of time on the bench this season I believe.
Chryatis Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 Normally crap then? It's never crap just tonight will be without the TV on!!
MikeyT Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 It's never crap just tonight will be without the TV on!! You classy guy. haha
kingfox Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 with the Royals revealing that the defender requested permission to speak to Sven Goran Eriksson's side. On transfer clockwatch says Mills requested permission, as he has done that then I suspect this deal can basically be confirmed.
PeterTaylorsApprentice Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 If we are going to pay this much for Mills, splash the cash on Maynard!

King showed last season he wasn't quite ready for it. Mills is in the mould of a Steve Walsh or Matt Elliott. If he does half as well as either of them for us, we're in for a good season.
