Well I thought they were just saying they were concerned we all have different levels of how we feel in terms of confidence etc so what exactly is wrong with expressing that

Of course we're going to be currently weaker, we've shipped more than signed, as have 90% of clubs.

And that's all they said and were concerned about the quality we might still in get hardly the crime of the century to express that especially with all the other dross being posted and doesn't really warrant the response especially as a relatively new poster, nothing like driving new people away before they settle in. I've had my say now I'll leave people to make their own judgements Some of those loanees could still come back. They could but as of the time of this topic they haven't.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 It's fine. We don't have to worry yet we have about a month to sort out the squad which is more than enought time. We have Sven who has the most contacts in the Championship, he knows who he wants and the Thai's will give him the money he wants to buy these players. No point worrrying yet, as most teams haven't signed any players really yet, apart from Norwich. I don't mind people moaning about our club but it annoys me that people are already worried that the team isn't ready yet. We have time to rebuild and the signings will start to take shape when Sven and players come back from holiday in the next few days. In Sven we trust! :sge:
cc_star Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 We're rumoured to be coming back in for Mee, and we're linked with a couple of really good CBs I'm not sure how progressed George Taft is, but he plays for the Eng U-19's so could feature in the squad this season. Tunchev, if fit & awarded a contract will seem like a new signing and is worth a thousand Bruma's Bamba+whoever (defensively) hardly set the world alight last year Peltier is supposedly great so I have no concerns there, I am concerned about the lack of backup at RB though I have no doubt Masilela will be more consistent than PVA (IMO anyone could be) Danns is an excellent signing in the middle and will give us options we never had last season Up front, all is not lost with The Yak & if we don't get him we'll probably get CMS or Maynard as well as Nugent so will actually be stronger up front next season Kasper Schem is also an upgrade on the 3 keepers who turned out for us last season, if Weale goes I do have concerns about back-up though as I don't think Logan is good enough and Adam Smith may not be ready We have the added advantage of Sven & Faz throughout the summer and we'll be starting the season in much better shape than last year's with players unfit & handing in transfer requests I thought the thread was a good debating point actually. I just have a different take on it to you

I am getting concerned that we are not attracting quality players to the club. he is working on signings! we got kasper and danns in one day! plus our side last season was full of loaned players. calm down season doesn't start until 6th August and the transfer window is still open then!

thybluefox Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 I think your least speaks volumes Davie, 7 players out and only 3 in. We need to wait to see who else comes in to see. You can compare a couple of like for likes though. Naughton v Peltier, probably not quite as good, but Naughton is certainly not a 5 times better player than him, will be more experienced though. And I think we can all agree that Schmeichal is better than Weale/Ricardo.
