Is anybody worried about wages we are paying for all new signings?

Might be just me but is anybody else worried about the size of the wages we will be paying all our new signings including bonuses that we might end up in the same situation as before, Administration?

Pretty sure that won't happen to us again....

We will just have to take the 12pt hit and get on with it.

I dont believe we will be self sufficient come next year if we do not make it up this season.

Although this time round we are buying better quality players, but am a bit worried if King Power pull the plug on it all.

There's plenty of stuff that I could worry about but it'll happen regardless of whether I do or not so I'm opting to not worry and just enjoy the ride :D

not really, admin in 2002 was because of the collapse of ITV digital and our owners then weren't paticularly rich, nowhere near the thai's.

Top and co are sensible businessmen who will be paying out what we can afford. The only worry would be if/when the thai's were to leave but i'd be confident of them finding replacement owners who could support the running costs of the club at that point.

Nothing confirmed regarding what we are paying ??

Yak was supposedly on 50k last season , then we 'hear' it was 30k .....or was it? We shall never know ...

Long live the king

enjoy the ride...

I think you just need to enjoy the excitement surrounding our club at the moment. It's been a long time since we had much to shout and cheer about. We have a great stadium, a world famous manager with some great contacts and rich owners showing they mean business as they promised. Don't worry about things you have no control over. Just enjoy the now and present.

only if we don't go up and the owners cut their losses and bugger off - just enjoy the roller coaster ride. Remember there's never a dull moment supporting Leicester!

Yes, always have been but nothing I can do about it. Pretty sure a few clubs will leave us over the next ten years, Just have to hope if it does go wrong these guys stick around. It's not that drastic though, remember Pompey were throwing 85,000 a week at Utaka on smaller gates than us, that was lunacy.

We will deserve what we get if it does happen though because 95% of us seem to blindly encourage anything even if we stood to make massive losses year after year.

But yeah, would of loved to have done it the Norwich way with a managerial genius like Lambert.

Theres always some worry when good things happen to Leicester, but I believe the owners are good men that won't screw us over.

So do I.

Always a bit iffy with anyone who has done a large business transaction with Milan Mandaric though.

Like large al said, top and co seem sensible enough.

Still, if we don't go up and they do one we could implode.

Though because they've renamed the ground does kind of hint to me that they're in it for the long run. Not the best thing to base the point on I know.

No need to worry about money ... if they're running low on it they can just charge £28 to get into a friendly to top it up .... oh

I'm often pessimistic, but I'm not worried at all

The Thai's are business men they've already bought the club for £30m+ which is a lot as it doesn't even own its own land or ground or anything, they then added £10m in last season on player acquisitions & running costs, and they even overspent this by an unknown amount, and they certainly don't seem to be shy this summer chasing £7m worth of forwards alone at one point and gawd knows how much in wages

There is only one way they will get their money back and that is promotion, I can't see how (probably) the dearest manager outside the top flight, and probably dearer than a few in it along with as many signings as he wants is sustainable in this division it just got loss-making all over it, and the reason I'm not worried is they have to get promotion, even if this means throwing good money after bad, there is no other choice else they will lose sizeable amounts of their investments and they'll be stuck with the ongoing costs of the 3 years contracts that are currently being offered. They simply have to have promotion, there is no other option other than bankruptcy and if that happens they lose nearly everything

Of course that means us fans will lose stuff too, probably a 12 point hit and loss of morale probably leading to relegation to league 1... So what, it was alright last time we went in it could be alright again. the worst that can happen is we play at a lower level, we'll still exist, and with all the millions the owners have pumped in up to now they're bound to ensuring we're successful. Their success is intrinsically linked to our success

I think that Sven will have his own cap and not overpay one player over another player as this could cause major problems.

I'm not sure the new signings will have broken our wage records, they're probably on a par with the rest of the squad.
