BUT we have conceded too many goals in this pre season tour and these aren't even as good as the teams we will be playing. its a brand new defence mate new goalie,cb,rb and lb these guys are going to need at least ten games i reckon to start to gel and understand each other so the more pre season games we play the better i think

Larry_LCFC Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 Im not worried. Kasper hasnt really played a part and we havent really fielded our strongest defence yet. Sven is trying to get an understanding of players and not necessarily focus on winning the games.
thybluefox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I knew this would be the knee jerk reaction. Have a look at the back 5 playing in the 2nd half at the minute and that should explain why we might have conceded it.

And rather concede now while trying out different formations. Or perhaps we should win all these games 8-0 Then when the season starts loose em all 1-0 Just a thought like

sdb Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 24 players, 3 keepers. You'd do bloody well not to have the occasional hiccup, especially at this stage. Plus pre-season results mean f- all. Didn't we go unbeaten last season, before our shambolic start to the season?

Bayfox Posted 18 July 2011 Posted 18 July 2011 I'm pretty sure a good pre season results wise normally turns into a rubbish season and vice versa, MON normally had average pre seasons and look what he achieved, as for PT i think he had some decent pre season results and he took us down. What is it with City fans, get a grip. We have a Striker playing LB and what is now our sub keeper playing.
