I know he scored 2 on the first game of the season but he's not scored any since, what has happened to Chopra this season, awful.

YES!

Ipswich 2 - 0 Coventry! :crylaugh:

As if Ipswich still play Chelsea Dagger

I was thinking just this! And about ipswich in general to be honest. Thought they'd end up being a force after a such a competant away win, but its all gone tits up since then!

Looks like Cov are going down on that performance! Called it before the season started too. :giggle:

Their fans have given up on them too. Apparently only 185 sky blues were at the game. :o

I know it's a Monday night, live on Sky, Ipswich tickets are always pricey and all that jazz but that is appalling stuff, even by the low standards Coventry usually set.

What's the betting they go down to double figures for Tuesday night games in League One should they go down? lol

Coventry are such a dull club to support.

They just don't do anything. No play-off chasing, no real relegation battles, just lower mid-table.

That'll all change this year, hopefully.

Well I couldnt find a Carling Cup thread so I thought id share in here...

Just got back from Newcastle 4-3 Florest.... Enjoyed every last second of it...

Sat with the Geordies in the away end(for family reasons I follow Newcastle and this was the most fun I have ever had watching them!)..

Some brilliant chants..

Including my personal favourite "We're having a party when Ashley dies... Pass the parcel when Ashley dies, Musical statues when Ashley dies, Having a party when Ashley Dies" lol.

Newcastle have some quality youngsters, Sylvain Mavreux looks like he could be a star for them, young Sammy Ameobi is also one to watch, he's skinny as anything but deceptively strong and quick as anything!

Was a thoroughly enjoyable game, all 120 minutes of it, Newcastle end went mental when Collocini headed it in on 121 minutes.

I can see why Florest fans are scared, they have no defence, whatsoever!

Oh and speeking of nothing whatsoever.... their fans!! Attendance 10,000.... 3,000 of those Newcastle fans... Fucking shameful considering it wasn't expensive and considering that the 3000 odd Geordies have travelled for four hours and wont be back until the early hours.

Couple of mostly second stringers playing each other in a fairly pointless competition on a pretty depressing tuesday night. When you take into account our piss poor efforts at the weekend I'm surprised it was that much.

I appreciate that many people hold this same attitude but I still can't understand it; seeing Leicester at Wembley in the Carling Cup final would mean the world to me... :dunno:

Cloughie would be turning in his grave if he heard of the appalling turnout tonight.

But it's not surprising, given that Forest have only had ONE win in the competition against a top-flight club since he retired in 1993.
