Raw Dykes Posted 31 July 2011 Posted 31 July 2011 The idea of us signing Jerome is growing on me for some reason. I know he hardly scored last season, but he has been decent in the past. He's only 24 and he would likely be pretty good in this division. Let's face it, he is better than Waghorn and Kermorgant, and Birmingham are desperate for cash. Might be able to get a bargain. May even be able to sell him on at a profit if we make it to the PL.

Joe. Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 Don't put Jerome's lack of goals last season against him. He was in a Birmingham side under McLeish, demonstrating footballing negativity beyond belief. He'd have barely had a sniff, and anybody turning their nose up at him has not thought it through very much.

He might score a few, but we have other strikers who will score just as many already. We need someone who is an out and out goalscorer to complete the team that will get us 20+ that is all we're missing. I don't think Jerome is that player.

Bettsy82 Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 How times change a couple of seasons ago we would never have dreamed of being linked with Jerome, Keane, Long etc now we are spoilt for choice its great being a leicester fan at the minute. Also love the way sven tells it the way it is and is always honest the more interviews i hear with the guy the more i love him. Stringer was obviously gutted that hed spent all summer trying to get sven to reveal his transfer targets and then sven revealed more or less the lot in the space of five minutes on the phone in, brilliant .
