incredible, but the kiwi's will choke as usual when the tournament comes round.

Want to quote a few more sporting clichés while you're at it? Maybe tell us France have a chance "if the right team show up?" Or maybe call Ireland the dark horse outsiders?

Said it once, I'll say it again, I'm not going on record to say the ABs will win but it will take something special to stop them. They won't choke; not at home, not this year.

It was a half strength SA squad. Take nothing from this result.

I would expect a "half strength" (it really wasn't as severe as you make out) Wales side to do much better than 40 - 7 against England or France.

Probably best you don't. I seem to remember you saying something similar about Seth Efrica at the CWC earlier this year

What the fuck do I know about cricket?! lol

Australia won by a similar margin against the Saffas the week before.

Hammered them, yes. Not really a "similar margin" though was it? Really?

France need the right team to show up. Fancy Ireland as dark horse outsiders.

South Africa scored the last two tries of the match which flattered them alot

That's because you are a partisan fool :P . I would expect the same result in similar circumstances if Ireland were involved and Ireland are FAR superior to Wales

Sorry, mate, what happened last game? :dunno:

It was still such a beautiful quote :D

I don't remember it, to be honest.

Surely if I gave any opinion on cricket I was being tongue-in-cheek? Maybe the humour didn't come across. I'm reasonably sure I wouldn't presume to tell anyone anything about cricket.

I don't even know who's good. All I know is Mike Atherton always gets a duck and Brian Lara is ridiculous.

Only time I tend to post in cricket threads is just to spam lol smileys when England lose.

Not been in for a while then? :D

Would love to see New Zealand balls this up on homeground but I can't see it, they look so much stronger than anybody at the minute.

It's massive pressure but they are that good, if anyone's going to give them a game I think we can only look at Australia. :S

Just thought about this and why would you want England and Wales to lose at cricket?

umm lol

cliche or not... its still true... its happened so often to new zealand who have been the top team coming into the tournament that its something THEIR media have been talking about. its become a genuine psychological issue for them. The pressure on their team is enormous...

Is it a cliche to say that Coventry usually make a good start to the season... or could it actually be true?

not quite a world cup game but it was a warm up... England v Wales today. Both teams had a lot of space for their tries and both will need to tighten up the defence if they want to go far in the world cup...

England have absolutely no confidence in any of their backs when Chris Ashton isn't playing, ridiculous really. Should have absolutely devastated us today. What was it? 10 - 15 odd visits to our 22 with no score? To one visit and one score, more or less?

Joke.

We really are a walking injury list at the moment, entire front row, half of the back row, fly half, centres, two full backs. Mental.

your back row of f Dan Lydiate, Sam Warburton and Toby Faletau start their third successive match together, England made thirteen changed and Wales made 4 i think....at least most of your lads had played together the week before but out of our 40 players in our squad we have only had 5 not play in either of the games... You should of won by 30 points playing at home with all the changes we made..... terrible game all round really... sure our pack played well in periods but its no use if you dont use it effectively.. World cup will definitely go to the southern Hemisphere this year im pretty sure of that....
