This is a cracking match.

Fair fucks to Japan.

They've really went for it and played some fabulous rugby.

You do realise that Kiwis aren't aussies

This is what we do to the HAKA

I was being facetious. You antipodeans all look alike to me.

Sorry, remind me, what happened in that match?

Winding up the Kiwis / All Blacks in any sport never really seems to go well. People have turned their back to the Haka, held training sessions whilst they were doing it, walked up and eyeballed them, you name it. Nearly always gotten smashed.

But, you know, any excuse to dig this out:

(And yes, we lost. But given the quality of their squad and ours and the fact we really rattled them in the first half I think that can go down as a reasonable idea by Warren Gatland :P )

I'd be gutted if I was an Argentina fan.

There's absolutely nothing worse in rugby than losing a game because of kicking inaccuracy.

As bad as Wilkinson was by his own standards, the Argies were much worse. Worrying injuries for them.

That was awful. Youngs showed he isn't just an international, he is world class.

Still don't understand Johnno sometimes. Easter winds me up (I can't believe Waldrom wasn't included in the squad) and I don't see what he really offers and the old front row wasn't good enough. Hartley should be in for me. He's got the attitude you need in a world cup.

Also, with Wilko at fly half, he needs to stick to his job. With the old forwards he was involved in too man rucks. If the fly half is stuck in a ruck then how can you utilise players like Manu at centre?

And, I can't believe I am saying this in relation to a rugby match but to sum it all up the ref was awful! The penalty count wasn't exactly uneven yet we had a yellow they didn't. And how they missed the Argie pulling down maul just before Youngs try I don't know. That's exactly what Cole was carded for!

At least we should be safely through to the quarters having won. I look forward to watching England v France at a ridiculously early hour at walkabout!

I just don't understand England's negativity at all. The few times they had the confidence to give Ashton and Foden the ball they looked good. Argentina aren't a great side in the slightest but they are tough in the break down and that's where England decided to take them on.

It seriously could have cost you today if the Argies had landed their kicks, you seriously dodged a bullet.

Johnno needs to have more than just one plan for success, grinding games against the ABs or the Saffers down to low-scoring, forwards-dominated affairs might be your best way of beating the big sides but when you clearly have superior ball skills to your opponent you've got to be putting them to the sword.

I don't know the ins and outs of rugby, I get the rules and stuff and like to watch England/Tigers.

But today for me it didn't seem very hard, all we needed to do was try getting the backs involved and running round the Argies, not trying to pile through them, seen as that's where they're considerably stronger, no? As soon as Youngs came on, he found gaps in the defence and went through them, scored a try, we won. And Ashton and Foden found a few gaps earlier on as well, and we looked threatening.

Kicking from both sides was woeful though, is it the ball? the conditions? or are they both just shit?

The Argentine kickers are pretty pure and it was quite a high pressure environment.

Absolutely 0 excuse for Wilkinson, though. Not given how high he's set the bar himself.

Though, to be fair, everyone has an off-day.

This should have been a much more comfortable win for the Sassanach yet you manage to make really hard work of it. Saying that if Wilkinson had have brought his kicking boots...

Not seen this before... BRILLIANT!!!

The haka is one of the most impressive and intimidating parts of world sport, the Welsh were superb and great entertainment.
