fatmando Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Excellent sales speil. You can see why these guys are successful buisnessmen! I can't help thinking...."if something sounds to good to be true....it most probably isn't". But fook I hope that's wrong and I hope this rollercoaster don't crash and burn at the end. Until then it's gonna be a wicked ride whatever happens. Come on City!!!!
Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 "if something sounds to good to be true....it most probably isn't". I keep reading that and it changes from being correct to incorrect each time
Daggers Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Personally I don't trust them. I don't trust any owners of any club but this pair are on one massive ego trip. It all started with the Madrid game...they "gave" that to us to "thank us". First time I ever had to pay £26 for a gift!!! I don't want thanking, don't want their praise and don't want to read anything or hear anything from them. It is OUR club, not thiers. We were here long before and will be long after they have ridden off into the sunset. It's funny because it's true.

Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 It's funny because it's true. About as true as the fact that the poster is content with his life. Loving that sig

ozleicester Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Not sure about all the rest but the last line is definately true. Bollocks... if we don't storm this league undefeated this year im off to Manure
accessory Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I heard Real Madrid charged us £1m for playing here.... ..and we got the money back and more through sale of TV rights and advertising, plus ticket ,programme, souvenir and refreshment sales.

We were here long before and will be long after they have ridden off into the sunset. Then why go to the game then? If you didn't want to spend £26 to see Leicester vs real Madrid you must be mad mate, it cost them a million to get them to come to us how else they gonna get that money back plus profit?, it's obvious the owners care about us with all the upgrades to the stadium and other things. Ok let's get rid of them and get a chairman like derby and forest have who are very stingy when it comes to buying players or other things and see how well we do. If it was not for our chairman we wouldn't have sven, we wouldn't have the players we got now.
MPH Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Fair play to Mandaric for finding these guys!!! Think Mandaric would of sold to the devil if he had paid him enough....
StevieLCFC Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 "There is something special ahead for us, I can feel this. There is hard work to follow, but there is glory to be realised. Now is the time for us to make this happen." Lump in my throat..
Guest MattP Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I've not cried so much since Milan's 3 year plan speech.
John Matrix Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 that's better than maximus' speech at the start of gladiator awesome
topharry123 Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I am so impressed with this guy ever since they took over the club. They always say the right things, and they are showing that they care about the club by everything they are putting into it. I was excited when Mandaric took over but still had a bad feeling. He did us good and took us as far as he could but I never got the feeling he really cared more than making a few quid. These guys seem different. It's still early, but big respect to them for doing what they are doing. So excited about the future right now, premier league here we come and stay !!!
Guest Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Who would have thought supporting Leicester could be such a positive experience?! If the lads do perform this season the feel good factor at the club will be up there with the heady MON days, everything seems so rosey? Let's get Maynard or Long and dick the league!
