Wherethefoxhat? Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I'm sceptical about how true this statement is. However, they obviously care enough about the fans to write a statement like this- something most owners wouldn't bother to do. I genuinely believe they are concerned with pleasing the fans- their second priority behind making Leicester City the next Man City so they make a fortune. Really ? I thought it was written in conjunction with the PR man ...Phil Anthropist . Could be wrong though
RAFRUDY Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Awesome! Now lets get out there tomorrow and kick Coventrys ass
Messi Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Edit: I'm not being racist cause their asian, just a little quote from Max and Paddy
Bezzanator89 Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Well Thais are known for their warm and pleasant words and hospitality. Thank you Vichai, a very pleasant read.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 That made me tweet something off the OS. That is lovely to hear, Proper commitment and PASSSHUUUNN
Amin Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Sounds like we are are going to battle, which we are in a way.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Reading that makes the PR of Mandaric, and the attempts of Martin Allen to engage, look rather amateur. These chaps certainly seem to know how to relate to fans
Izzet is God Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Very inspirational and yes PR may be doing there jobs here but the fact they this came out of the blue, impresses me. Sounds like they want to achieve success and if they make a healthy profit in the future then good luck to them. However, it looks like they want to make us a force so I say let them. Exciting times being a city fan at the moment!
wurmer Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Fantastic rallying call! Let's get on with it - bring it on!!
RumbleFox Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I love this! I fvcking love a bit of this. Though it probably is PR and their main aim IS to make a profit that does not mean that they cannot genuinely care for the club and its supporters as well! Thank you Mr Chairman, I love you! Now lets take this cvnting league by storm! You hear me League? YOU FVCKING HEAR ME?!?!?! That's right, we're coming for you! X
Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I love this! I fvcking love a bit of this. Dicko Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Very nicey put, and I do like the bit about not being held to ransom on transfers. Good timing as well - now roll on tomorrow!
Modernfootballisrubbish Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Personally I don't trust them. I don't trust any owners of any club but this pair are on one massive ego trip. It all started with the Madrid game...they "gave" that to us to "thank us". First time I ever had to pay £26 for a gift!!! I don't want thanking, don't want their praise and don't want to read anything or hear anything from them. It is OUR club, not thiers. We were here long before and will be long after they have ridden off into the sunset.
Messi Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Technically it is their club, they own us and have been investing in us since the day they took over. They are being positive and want to get us where we belong, in the premier league. Lighten up abit and get some ambition and enthusiasm.

Houdini Logic Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Got a good PR guy/girl Just because they're from Thailand...
Merging Cultures Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 Brilliant! These guys are great! Which multi- millionaire owners of football clubs are not on an ego trip?? Personally, I think the style these guys are operating in is great. They are open, they're investing a fortune, and they understand that for the club to succeed they need to invest in the fans and match day experience. This is going to be a great ride. Big thanks to the new owners, they'll get a ton of criticism i'm sure, and those people tend to be more vocal. If you're happy with what they are doing, we need to be just as vocal as those who criticize.

@mrtonycox Posted 5 August 2011 Posted 5 August 2011 I think the message was nice, sincere and made me feel good about the club.. I don't care about the advertising and King Power on everything, it's the football that matters, and it's looking good..
