s11nny Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 hopefully they show a glimpse of the poznan in the highlights of the game on the football league show
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0131sl8/5_live_Sport_Championship_201112_Coventry_City_v_Leicester_City/ sound quite loud on this in places
adam95581 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I was row Y seat 5, as close to the home fans as possible, it was epic! C'mon Leicester!! No way...i was seat 4. wowowow
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 No way...i was seat 4. wowowow I was in 6! unbelievable
purpleronnie Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Me and my mate sat down on row E. It wasn't because we didn't want to stand but rather so that others behind us could clearly watch the game. I wonder if lots of other folk want to stand but decide to sit because they 'think' people behind them want to sit too. Just out of curiosity does anyone ask the people behind them if they want to stand?
CosbehFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Bit better than average. Went very quiet during the nervous seventies and eighties.
fox ache Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I was in 6! unbelievable You aint gonna believe this, seat 7 :w00t:

Just out of curiosity does anyone ask the people behind them if they want to stand? Yes. I wanted to stand and did so all first half (row H) After HT the stewards suddenly decided to make us sit down as we were 'in the way of fans behind us' (there was noone behind me for two rows FFS!) I ended up sitting on the back of the chair as the stewards were intent on finding someone to trhow out
acooling08 Posted 6 August 2011 Author Posted 6 August 2011 block 9? Poznan looked awqesome when we scored. Did it happen at the start of the game? Block 10. The guy started so many of our songs by banging on the plaggy windows No Poznan at the start, but it was awesome when we scored.
Unabomber Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 If the players are looking at the crowd and admiring the poznan maybe it's not the best idea....hmmm. Focus lads! Looked soooo good though! 6000 fans and the covscum didn't know what had hit them! is this serious or not?
Corky Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I didn't think the atmosphere was too bad, I've certainly heard worse.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 You aint gonna believe this, seat 7 :w00t: you really really really arent going to believe this but i was in seat 17 . . . . . . . . . . of a completely different row. . . . .and block
Simmo86 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Atmosphere better than normal for Cov, some parts were really loud! Cracking celebrattions and Poznan! Got covered in beer in block 6/7 when we scored!
CosbehFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Bit disappointed there was no 'Shit on the Sky Blues. Shit on the Sky Blues tonight.'
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Someone should make a Poznan emoticon for the forum i turn my back on that idea . . . . . . . . . .
Topman Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Was at block 12 row tt, everyone stood whole game, I did like the part when cov fans did that "Jesus sing us a song" part
Tommeh Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 For Coventry away (which is dire and has been ever since they moved to Ricoh) it was great. For any other away it was very average. The big numbers are to be expected for behind Leeds and West Ham no teams will travel better than us. Forest, Barnsley and West Ham in the coming months will show where the real noise is at.

Agree with those 2 but Barnsley?
Tommeh Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Agree with those 2 but Barnsley? Not been before then I take it?
Jodranadinho Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Barnsley is HUGE, pretty generous on allocations!
Simmsy Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Anyone got the video of our Poznan? If not I'll just have to hope it's on the FL show.
HEGGSY Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Plus they'll be even more fans because the sun is doing that two tickets for about £20 to the barnsley game which is decent
Guest Bilo Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Barnsley is one of the best away days of the season, drinking on the train from 8.30am and the day finally ended at 4am the next morning with me ordering a filthy kebab near my mate's halls in Sheffield. It's just a shame it comes so early.
