ozleicester Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Bus, building and police cars alight after protest about police shoot and killed man.
Fox92 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I've just seen this (not literally). I read that somebody was shooting outside a tube station? What the hell is that about, if true. And, who +1 your post of 'bus, building and police cars alight after protest about police shoot and killed man'? Thats bad.
ozleicester Posted 6 August 2011 Author Posted 6 August 2011 They are preventing the fire brigade from getting in Apprewntly was a protest after a man was shot and killed last thursday
David Guiza Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Looks very dangerous at the minute, loads of people still milling about. Doesn't seem to be an awful lot of information either, very vague.

Daggers Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Bloke who was shot was probably a rite little shit the police dont shoot you dead if you've accidentally dropped some litter No, it's normally something serious like not buying a tube all-day travelcard
jonno24 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Strength in numbers... Like it has always been and always will be... 'If one man has the conviction of truth in his heart' 'He can be the equivalant of an army with hate in its blood' Strenght in numbers = bollocks its just wannabe gangsters who think they are hard by going around with hoodies on throwing stuff at the police in time however they will grow up
jonno24 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 No, it's normally something serious like not buying a tube all-day travelcard Bastards
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 No, it's normally something serious like not buying a tube all-day travelcard Perhaps if he'd stopped when challenged instead of carrying on..... it was a short time after 7/7, people would have been the first to complain that the police did nothing top prevent another bomb blast had they not acted the way they did. Lose/lose situation
jonno24 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Perhaps if he'd stopped when challenged instead of carrying on..... it was a short time after 7/7, people would have been the first to complain that the police did nothing top prevent another bomb blast had they not acted the way they did. Lose/lose situation Plus the backpack didnt help the situation

Lose/lose situation Doesn't excuse the Met making up a pack of lies and then passing them on to the Sun afterwards. An honest mistake could be accepted, given the circumstances at the time. A vile smear campaign against the dead cannot be.
ramboacdc Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Looks pretty real: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14434318 i dont get what they want to achieve rioting. it wont do anything.

Ilkeston_Fox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 People are entitled to their opinion. I'm not condoning actions, just pointing out that whatever happens, there's always someone who will disagree. I have the 'pleasure' to be able to see things from both sides of the fence, and with the greatest of respect, members of the public just will not be able to understand until they do too.
samjohnson Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I wonder if these riots have got anything to do with Modric and Chelsea
