Daggers Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 My mate sent me a video of the looting in wood green, ****ing mental That's terrible. What have those puppies and kittens done to anybody? Actually, change that - kittens deserve everything coming to them.
cambridgefox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 I feel sorry for the small independant shop owners who are probably finding things hard at the moment anyway and now have either no stock and no passing trade(well ones that pay for goods)This could cripple a small business.
Jon the Hat Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Initial tests show bullet lodged in radio during Duggan shooting was police issue - The Guardian That casts a very different light on the shooting. Still mo reason to riot.
AoWW Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 That's terrible. What have those puppies and kittens done to anybody? Actually, change that - kittens deserve everything coming to them. You do realise Ms Friel is a devoted cat lover?
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 My wife's family live in Enfield. Hope is doesnt spread down Chaceside. ****ing scum the lot of them. Get the army out with rubber bulletts. Have theses little shits running scared in a couple of minutes!!
Daggers Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 You do realise Ms Friel is a devoted pussy lover? Yep, but it's something we can work through.
Lamby Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 It's closing in on me at the moment, hopefully it don't get too far
Koke Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 I liked the orderly queue formed whilst looting JD. Even when robbing shit, the British still queue up politely for their turn.
Phube Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 I liked the orderly queue formed whilst looting JD. Even when robbing shit, the British still queue up politely for their turn. My personal favourite was the girl who stopped to try on the pair of trainers she was stealing! It would never do stealing a pair of trainers that didn't fit properly! She was probably inbetween sizes an could't decide!

It would never do stealing a pair of trainers that didn't fit properly! She was probably inbetween sizes an could't decide! hopefully she leaves her old pair behind and her mum has put a name tag in them
Jon the Hat Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 It is a sad reminder that a sizeable proportion of the population think it is fine to steal if they have a reasonable chance of getting away with it.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 If this gets down my way I'm going to be irritated.
Len Finsbury Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 We're too soft on rioters. Get the water cannons out.
Jon the Hat Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 We're too soft on rioters. Get the water cannons out. We dont have any, I was saying this last night. The Met are not really equipped (and thankfully so) to deal with large scale disturbances. It is a bit like snowploughs. Now if you could design a snowplough which doubled as a water cannon then you might have something!
Zingari Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Couldn't we afford a couple of LRADs They have the advantage of being useful even during a hosepipe ban http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Range_Acoustic_Device
breadandcheese Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 It is a sad reminder that a sizeable proportion of the population think it is fine to steal if they have a reasonable chance of getting away with it. It's sad when you look at Japan after the tsunami and see a dignified nation. Then you see London over the past two nights. The IPCC better make the investigation of this shooting their only priority after the reports of the bullet in the radio being a police bullet. As you said earlier, it would present this in a whole different light.
Nick Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Couldn't we afford a couple of LRADs They have the advantage of being useful even during a hosepipe ban http://en.wikipedia....Acoustic_Device Like your thinking, however the old lady who lives in the flat next to JD sports who ends up not being able to hear for the rest of her days may have an issue with this if used in a populated area!
Daggers Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Why can't they have a riot near WH Smith as I've love a new gel-pen set and a couple of magazines (haven't they got pricey these days)? And M&S, their clothes always last so much longer and I feel are cut from decent cloth. And afterwards, if the riot could continue to some fine dining establishment with a good wine list that would be much appreciated.
Guest Bilo Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 I'd start a riot in Skeggy if there were any shops worth looting.
Head Honcho Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 My personal favourite was the girl who stopped to try on the pair of trainers she was stealing! It would never do stealing a pair of trainers that didn't fit properly! She was probably inbetween sizes an could't decide! That did actually make me cough up my pint.................priceless

It would never do stealing a pair of trainers that didn't fit properly! She was probably inbetween sizes an could't decide! I got burgled when I lived in Newcastle for a short time. Guy broke in, took my trainers and left his in the lounge.
Steven Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 One tweet compared his death to that of Jean Charles de Menezes and the singer Smiley Culture, who is said to have stabbed himself to death when officers arrived to question him over drugs offences. It read: ‘The police said Mark Duggan had a gun. Smiley Culture had a knife. Jean Charles de Menezes had a bomb. Ian Tomlinson died of natural causes.’ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2023543/Tottenham-riot-Mark-Duggan-using-gun-shot-dead.html#ixzz1UR80BtFI
Zingari Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 cut off their goolies i actually remember watching this sketch on Not the 9 o' clock news
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 On Radio 5 this morning one of the presenters (possibly Victoria Derbyshire) was interviewing someone in London, think it might have been a clergyman or an MP (two groups of people I don't generally have much time for), and she was saying, "Why have young people round here done this? Is it because they are disenfranchised*, because they have no opportunities, because they are disengaged from society?" and the bloke replied, "They did it because they wanted to nick a new TV." I imagine lots of people in Tottenham and Brixton etc sitting in their living rooms saying, "It's true! The flames licking up a police car DO look better in HD!" Though without the correct grammar. *What does that even mean?
