Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 The thread for discussing all LCFC players in international action. Believe we could be seeing St. Ledger (Ireland) and King (Wales) in action tonight, let's hope we don't pick up any knocks.
shen Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 A bit surprised that Gallagher hasn't been called up. Surely his form last year must've put him into the reckoning...
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Did not see Andy King sing the Anthem Might be on the bench
irDeano Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Did not see Andy King sing the Anthem Might be on the bench He is on the bench.
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 He is on the bench. Thanks St, Ledger starts for Ireland at the Aviva stadium
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 Crazy how Gallagher doesn't even make squads.
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Crazy how Gallagher doesn't even make squads. What do you expect when Craig Levein is manager
Kermorgant Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 taft is in england u20 team and there playing sometime today, i think
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Fernandes not in Switzerland's squad against Liechtenstein.
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 Fernandes not in Switzerland's squad against Liechtenstein. Dropped or lack of fitness? Don't think he has done a full pre-season and wasn't expected to do a full 90mins on Saturday.
lcfcsmith Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 A bit surprised that Gallagher hasn't been called up. Surely his form last year must've put him into the reckoning... And yet Snodgrass got in, he only scored 7 goals last year, don't understand that decision personally SSL looking solid enough, seems comfortable on the ball and under possession
funkyrobot Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Not surprised kingy is on the bench, he had a shocker in his last Wales match tho tbf think he was stuck out on the wing
Ric Flair Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Ooooh SSL in good performance shocker? No but it's not allowed because he might rival Bamba for a centre back place and then we can't sing his song. DIE!
Jimmy Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 And yet Snodgrass got in, he only scored 7 goals last year, don't understand that decision personally SSL looking solid enough, seems comfortable on the ball and under possession Scotland Manager Craig Levein

FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 And yet Snodgrass got in, he only scored 7 goals last year, don't understand that decision personally SSL looking solid enough, seems comfortable on the ball and under possession Snodgrass just scored for Scotland I would pick Gallagher for the squad though
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Dropped or lack of fitness? Don't think he has done a full pre-season and wasn't expected to do a full 90mins on Saturday. Fernandes was razor-sharp against Coventry, so it can't be a lack of fitness. Although he did play against Rotherham, so three matches in such a short period of time wouldn't do him any good. I can only assume Hitzfeld wants to test alternatives during the less glamourous friendlies. You'd expect Gelson Fernandes back for the European Championship qualifying game against Bulgaria in four weeks.

Keen on getting a Swiss shirt so may as well get Fernandes on the back, what number does he usually wear when starting?
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Just seen on Sky sports news that SSL puts a lovely ball in but dunne could not convert the chance Go St, Ledger
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Thanks. Keen on getting a Swiss shirt so may as well get Fernandes on the back, what number does he usually wear when starting? Usually the 15, he has switched to Tranquillo Barnetta's 16 occasionally.
Guest Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Fernandes played for us last night SSL looked decent Long and Keane didn't.
